Welcome to our state, nice to meet you, lol. Hope you get through before the snow that's forecast catches you. That's the pressure buildup in your ears from the altitude changes of going up and down. You can chew gum or swallow and it should release with a slight pop and return to normal. They do take very good care of our roads here in North Carolina for sure. You should spend more time the next time you come through. Maybe visit Maggie Valley, or Cherokee, or take a ride through the Pisgah National forest along the Nantahalee River. Or you could check out Biltmore house outside of Asheville, or take a ride on the Blueridge Parkway to see the highest elevation point, and visit Chimney Rock. If you hang around a bit you can do a little skiing, lol. You should really hit some of the back roads or go down Black Mountain on I-40 to the east of Ashville if you are an adrenaline junkie, now those roads are wild rides, this one is kind of tame. We have some hairpin turns on some of the back roads where you can look out your side window and see your behind right next to you, LOLOL. Moved to N. Carolina in 1975 from Hialeah, Florida and have never regretted it. Only thing I miss is stepping outside my door and picking fruits like bananas, mangos, coconuts, citrus and avocados off of trees in our yard back then. We have awesome beaches and mountains here though and only takes 3 or 4 hours to get to either from the center of the state, the best of both worlds. Enjoy it while you have the chance.
If yall ever come through Easley, S.C. stop by the IHOP there n ask for me. Hopefully im working that day or evening? (I go back to work tomorrow) Look forward to meeting yall, showing yall some nice, kind, southern hospitality... God bless
Very beautiful my husband and I have vacation down there year's ago now thinking about relocating there NC from MN it's hard to hear your audio maybe the purpose is to look at the scenery. Thanks for sharing. Safe travels! And God bless , you both
There are many great places in TN we have not done yet. Consider lucky we saw the town once it a massive amazing country we live in and so little time to see it all. We eat at gattitown pizza reminded me of my childhood. I had a great time there not sure why the locals got all angry at my video. I guess we talk differently than down south so we say things directly here thats why they don’t understand me
a cool route with like 5-6 waterfalls along the way is Route 64 from Franklin N.C. to Highlands N.C..its one of the most beautiful roads up to a rich litle town on top of a mountain. The waterfalls along the way is what makes it really special tho.
You guys are so cool. I love that you talk while driving, and I'm with her when she said give her space in an area like that. Love it!⚘ no body around!
so say a legal carrier of a fire arm in SC has his firearm properly secured in the middle console or trunk according to carry law. Can said person travel through mountains into north carolina to camp while staying legal with the carry? or would one need a CWP to have the reciprocity?
