WOW 4:28 on the right is my old middle school!! I live under a mile from there, that’s crazy! Also I had no idea that we had a unified grid in South Dakota but it makes sense now that I see it.

South Dakota is one of the most underrated states! I love it there. Badlands is one of my favorite national parks. The black hills is a beautiful area. Mount Rushmore is awesome! Love that state!

I went through South Dakota on a road trip out west this past spring and I must say it is a seriously underrated state in terms of natural beauty. Badlands National Park and the Black Hills are absolutely amazing and are one-of-a-kind places you won't find anywhere else in the world.

We drove through on our way back from a road trip to Cali and stopped at wall drug (standard highway tourist trap) as well as mount rushmore, but we couldn't find any parking there and had to give up

I grew up in South Dakota so there's not a lot that I haven't seen. Great state, the Black Hills is still one of my favorite places to visit

You have to have some serious appreciation of US geography to play all 50 states for a 25k and then redo a map when the score is "only" a 7:37. It already sounds like a good score if you have not lived there. I'm too lazy to play every state individually, but I like playing an Arbitrary Rural USA (AARUS) map on NM or NMPZ. Difficult to hit 22k even for the most well-traveled in America!

I went on a trip to South Dakota when I was younger to see Mount Rushmore, Wind Cave, and Custer State Park! Definitely a beautiful state! I really want to go back for Badlands!

IG South Dakota is my 3rd favorite map to speedrun besides only Utah (which you will probably get a kick out of too) and my home state of Colorado. infact watching this vid motivated me to play some more and beat my old time of 2:10 (which I did accomplish 😌)

This road system is such a good example on how an obvious solution to a problem can be exceptionally bad in so many ways. It is absurdly inefficient for starters. I guess entral planning does produce some very weird fails by people who don't know their stuff but think they should still dictate how things are done for the whole population.
