Some clips and photographs of my trip to South Georgia Island in January, 2014 with the Oceanside Expeditions ship Plancius. Stops at Elsehul Bay, Rosita Harbour, Stromness Whaling Station, Grytviken, Fortuna Bay, Jason Harbour, Gold Harbour and Cooper Bay.

Wow-you pay >$5000 to see an old junkyard-with a few penguins and seals thrown in..I'll stick to Miami beach.

Wow! Rugged terrain. Hunting all those whales in those mountains must have been grueling work. Especially with billions of penguins cluttering up the landscape and getting underfoot.
