Inflatable Rescue Boats (IRB) are often seen on our beaches during the summer keeping family, friends and loved ones safe or on standby with our lifesavers at the ready.
Here in this Documentary we focus on a club called South Maroubra, specifically their IRB Racing team. Upon winter most people may think surf life saving folds for the season but in actual fact, they not only keep training with IRB's to uphold their skills.. They race them in high intensity rescue like scenarios.
South Maroubra's IRB Team show us how they prepare for a busy summer ahead of saving lives by building skills, speed & team work through the beauty of competition.
