The way this game flawlessly goes from cut scene to gameplay and back the very distinct art style, not to mention the soundtrack sounds amazing so far. Microsoft has a banger!!! Great job Compulsion this is how you do game for a showcase. I can not wait to check this out.

Not really flawless. The gameplay is 60fps and the cut scenes are like 24fps stop motion.

@@BasketCase-rr7tx the cutscene are also 60, the characters are animated on the 2s or 3s to give that choppy/Spider verse effect - but the camera is still smooth.

This game looks like it would give me a headache as it constantly cuts between the animation style of the gameplay and the cut scenes. It was a weird design choice for sure with the gameplay a being smooth 60fps and the cut scenes looking like stop motion.

I'm sure it'll be intuitive when actually playing the game, I'm guessing they hid the HUD for this

The animation framerate is too low, it looks really bad. Mixtape in the same presentation shows a much better example, as does the Spiderverse suit from Miles Morales and Spiderman 2.

@@monkey678ful nice.. I love how with Xbox it's not.. don't buy it, but don't play it.. game pass is so good for trying out new game concepts.. imaging being a hater for a game given at a bargain 4 u to try out😅 ..it's wild business, some pipo are just bitter souls
