Some notes/trivia about the episodes in this video: 11. "Christian Hard Rock". - Season 7, Ep 9; October 2003 - Parodies campaigns and musicians' outrage over illegally downloading music from the internet. 10. "Britney's New Look". - Season 12, Ep 2; March 2008 - Parodies celebrity gossip culture and paparazzi. And, without spoiling the plot, some references to horror short stories. 9. "Cancelled". - Season 7, Ep 1; March 2003 - About the boys trying to convince aliens to renew the reality TV show that is the entire human race. - Several callbacks to the very first South Park episode "Cartman gets an Anal Probe" (yes, that's the actual title). It was originally planned to be the 100th episode, but they changed their mind. - The episode ends with the aliens promising the viewers an "all out brawl" between Americans and Iraqis. *The Iraq invasion happened the same night that episode aired, no joke* 8. "Chinpokomon". - Season 3, Ep 10; November 1999 - Parodies the rise of Pokemon in America. - "Chimpo" means penis in japanese, so the title basically translates to "Penis Monsters". And yes, they make a joke about that in the episode. 7. "Good Times with Weapons". - Season 8, Ep 1; March 2004 - Parodies anime and shows what happens when kids are bored and get their hands on lethal Asian weapons. - You're actually right, the artstyle of the "anime" version of the boys are taken from art from the Street Fighter games. - The creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, thought this episode wasn't very good in 2006. Then, they said it was their 2nd favorite episode ever in 2015. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 6. "Make Love, not Warcraft". - Season 10, Ep 8; October 2006 - Parodies World of Warcraft and its fandom - Blizzard actually provided them the character models and server to shoot the in-game scenes. - Trey Parker thought it was going to bomb and ruin the show. Instead, people loved it so much it won a Primetime Emmy award, and it was the first "machinima" to do so. 5. "The Passion of the Jew" - Season 8, Ep 3; March 2004 - Parodies Mel Gibson and his movie "Passion of the Christ". I've watched it, and can confirm it's basically a snuff film. - 17:42 is a reference to BASEketball, a movie that the creators of South Park starred in. It didn't do that well. 4. The Coon Trilogy, or "Coon 2: Hindsight", "Mysterion Rises", and "Coon vs Coon & Friends" - Season 14, Eps 11-13; October and November 2010 - A 3-part story about the boys as superheroes fighting Cthulhu. -The "we're sorry" part parodies the BP Oil company's actions during the infamous oil spill. 3. "Woodland Critters Christmas" - Season 8, Ep 14; December 2004 - A Christmas special and the Season 8 finale. 2. "All about Mormons" - Season 7, Ep 12; November 2003 - Parodies Mormons and religious beliefs - Based on the creators interactions with Mormons when they grew up in Colorado. They later made a musical Broadway play called "The Book of Mormon", which was very successful. 1. "Osama Bin Laden has Farty Pants" - Season 5, Ep 9; November 2001 - First episode after 9/11. Their last one was in August, so they were probably working on episodes for September, but paused the entire season after the attacks. - Nominated for an Emmy award. - Ends with a whole Looney Tunes slapstick fight between Osama bin Laden and Cartman. - I swear to God, 29:06 could easily summarize 2020 too. 6 of these episodes are just from Season 7 and 8 alone (split evenly) Also, the song that plays is "Kyle's Mom's a Big Fat Bitch". The footage it's from "South Park: Bigger, Longer, and Uncut", an actual movie that put South Park on the map. No seriously, I would highly recommend it as being your introduction to South Park. It's that good. Also, this comment took almost 2 hours.

7:17 - 8:15 oh God, I remember what happened after this rant was uploaded mid-2013. Basically, TMZ saw it and tried copyright striking the video on every website it was uploaded or re-uploaded. They even wrote an angry letter to Doug Walker, claiming that his video "represented them unfairly". *Doug responded by depicting and savagely roasting them ten times as hard in his review of "A.I: Artificial Intelligence", which OF COURSE I highly recommend reacting to next!* Also, yes, TMZ is still on. They're still gossip garbage. They still harass and publicly pick apart celebrities trying to live their lives; criticizing their body, hair, the SHOES they wear. Literally months before NC's Top 11, TMZ got in trouble for filming the murder of a 19 year old outside a club and posting the footage on their website without the family's permission. In 2020, they were the ones who broke the news of the death of Kobe Bryant and his daughter *without even giving the police a chance to inform their family* So yeah, they're still scum. And don't you ever forget it.

After his Rant with TMZ, said show contacted Doug to get the video removed, prompting him to mock them further in his next review, A.I. The Passion of the Christ was a huge deal when it came out being one of the few big-budgeted movies endured by many churches. It still holds the record for the highest-grossing R-rated movie in the US. NC reviewed it along with Cinema Snob, and it remains as their funniest crossover.

Matt Stone and Trey Parker, the creators of South Park, made a Broadway musical called "the Book of Mormon". It was a really funny musical that makes fun of Mormons! I still listen to the opening song occasionally! I recommend watching a video about it since (i think) you don't like musicals.

“Kyles mom” was a song invented by Eric Cartman, as a Christmas song. He made it to celebrate the fact that Kyles mom sterilized Christmas into oblivion. It later re-emerged in the South Park movie. 🤷‍♂️

One of the most amazing things about South Park is that it's still good even after over 25 years. Even though it's not in its golden age, per say, the quality of modern South Park is still great and there have been a lot of truly great episodes in recent seasons.

Chuck Jones is the animator who worked on MANY of the old Looney Tunes cartoons back in the day, and his art style is among some of the best animation. On another note, it's kinda funny how they made an episode based on World of Warcraft at the height of its popularity, and now it's been VASTLY overshadowed by the giant that is Final Fantasy XIV. Shows how fast times can change.

South Park at this point is one of those rare shows that, at this point, *can't* get cancelled. Its been around for so long, has so much history of insulting *everyone* that lucky/unlucky enough to cross its path and , outside of a few lower points, its remained pretty consistently funny for *over 25 years*

*Make Love, not Warcraft* is *to this day* considered one of the best episodes of South Park *ever*

South Park is a show that is so surprisingly topical. They have aired episodes dealing with issues on the day. The issue was happening. No joke. On the day that Obama was announced, was going to be president, he had an acceptance speech. That night, South Park released their newest episode: (I don’t even remember if this is the name of the episode if so, what I’m giving it) Obama’s 11 They somehow managed to copy Obama’s speech into the episode. (something they would’ve only had a couple of hours to do)

The creators of South Park are actually TRYING to get canceled. They said that that's their goal, to go on until they get canceled. But guess what, about a year ago, they signed a contract of 30 seasons through 2027 and 14 movies/species.

chuck jones, worked for warner brothers the dude had a hand in making the animated shorts/cartoons of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner, Pepé Le Pew, Marvin the Martian, and Porky Pig, along with others like the one south park is satorizing it was a cartoon of a big tough dog getting won over by the cutest kitten, he tries to hide the kitten from the owner so they can stay together but shenanigans ensue but a classic scene from that short was the kitten pawing/clawing the dogs back as it gets settled and falls asleep

Yep to this day, South Park is still on TV and they already finished releasing Season 26, it's one of my favorite TV shows ever made, I'm surprised Trey Parker and Matt Stone kept the show going will right now 25 years, I watched the first two seasons when it originally aired on TV, I was like 5 years old thanks to my dad😊 but my mom hate it.😅

I think number 7,the characters were done more in the style of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, having similar art styles to anime of the 80's and 90's for those with that kind of nostalgia, who I'm assuming the episode was marketed towards with Street fighter itself having a number of anime adaptations and more than likely lead some people getting interested in anime before shows like Dragonball Z and Cowboy Bebop, along with kid animes like Yugioh and Pokemon making more main stream here in the states.

I REALLY recommend this show, if you're ok with that kind of humor... Good Times With Weapons is my favorite episode.

I never got into the show because my cable didn't have Comedy Central till way way later and by then, South Park was somewhere after it's 10th season, so I never gave the show a chance. Mel Gibson was the director Passion of the Christ, which is why they made fun of him. I heard that unlike most animated shows, South Park can very quickly produced an episode in less than a week and it gets put on T.V right away. Alot animated shows takes years to make. If any other show wanted to cover about 9/11, it wouldn't air till sometime after the 1st year or 2nd year anniversary of the event.

I say there is no limit for what they want to poke fun off and what not. They use to do episodes in a week deadline (Start on tuesday and finish it up before next one) so they can all the current topics on the epsiode, and they use to do that i think last 16-18 seasons and they use to make like 20 episodes during the season, all in same deadline. In current seasons they switch where whole season is connected for one big story and everything else happens around it. Can't remember any big contreversion on epsiodes, i think last one was during season 23 episode "Band in China" where they make joke about Winnie the pooh looking like chinese president, origally stardet by bloggers. South park creators however did not care sicne it only make their show ban from china. I think the current contreversio is legal problems between paramounts south park specials and Warner Bros Discovery where they are batteling on streaming rights.

Osama Bin Laden Has Farty Pants was one of the first maybe twenty episodes id seen and its still hilarious Also there was an episode series and several after that made a rip on the creators being unable to show Muhammed by the network under fear of being bombed. The first time it takes swings at simpons and primarily family guy and the second time it takes a huge swing at Tom Cruise and celevrities in general wanting to use Muhammed so nobody can make fun of them ever again. Even the speech at the end of that episode series is censored because it calls out islamic extremists and i believe it wasnt too long either before or after this that islamic terrorists stormed a french news print company and executed a man named Charlie because he refused to stop making sattire cartoon drawings of the character whoch sparked the Je Suis Charlie movement. Charlies response to the death threats beforehand were "id rather die standing in freedom than live kneeling in fear." Its been a while so take all this with a grain of salt and look it up yourself if need be.

Also a fun story about the creators Matt and Trey, the two of them were given a reward at the Golden Globes in the late 90s at which point Matt and Trey showed up high as hell with a joint behind Trey’s ear and in horrible Kmart style dresses
