Robert Moore totally it is so dark and sarcastic like always sunny. They just laugh and poke fun of everything and the theme like the sunny theme is like that’s the joke it’s surreal dark and twisted.
That happened to me twice. Once was my first one when Butters watches porn then f***ing tries a sex ritual on Kyle and the second one was where Cartman kills Scott Tenormans parents because Scott scammed him
I love how the ending theme captures the extremely dark twisted mature and sarcastic tone of the show. It’s so dark and sarcastic it is laughing at you lol.
I used to watch this show when I was really young as well, but honestly this show is designed for mature audience not because of the cussing or the the violence but because of the deep political and social messages embedded in every episode. South Park is a satire and most kids don't understand the meaning behind each episode
Kyle Peterson Not really so much in the older episodes, most of the older episodes were just making fun of celebrities or Cartman doing stupid stuff, it became more political as it went on
@@linalokir2178 it's also what The New Kid says at the end of Stick of Truth if i remember correctly. he's a Gordon type protagonist so it's supposed to be jarring to hear him talk right before the credits roll
Dude, the credits in the game are the same as in the show :) in general the whole game is like a one big kaziliion hours episode of the show, it's great.
I remember when I was a kid and my grandpa was watching south park while I was playing with dolls, and this song started playing and I screamed and ran outside onto the porch. Now as someone who likes south park, I can't help but laugh whenever I hear this
just imagine one day... matt and trey have had enough. one more big movie.. or maybe just one more season. And for the finale they play the full version and we go off the air. Man...that’s gonna be a sad day..

When I hear this, I'm sent right back to 1997. Im 9years old. Late at night I'm the only one still awake. The one light on in the house is from the TV screen playing this spooky song while the credits played. It's a strangely comfortable memory.

andykishore yes and no...i grew up without cable so south park was so big for me to watch...everytime the ending credits came on i would use to cry cause id have to wait so long just to see another episode
the first time I watched this show and this song played I just kinda stared at the screen like ‘wtf.’ lmfao it’s like no show I’ve ever watched. chaotic, funny, doesn’t hold back at all, and just overall a great show.

Fun fact, this was almost the original intro theme music, but they changed it to be up-beat (for obvious reasons) and kept this version as the extro theme
i love how at the start south park is shown to be a fun family show for all ages but the ending theme kinda makes you think "what the fuck did i just watch" all though i know what im getting into sometimes that's what the episodes do to me lamo
