Yeah, I've seen this episode more than once. In this episode, you see Stan desperate as hell. And I've always wondered plenty of times: "Is desperation really as pathetic as so many people make it out to be?" And here, I thought, yeah it kinda is. But truly, unrequited love of ANY kind, whether someone love already has a significant other, they just don't like you back, or in Stan's case, a breakup, it can be very heartbreaking and truthfully, very self-esteem-damaging. Like: "Why don't they love me back? What did I do wrong?". That type of shit. Desperation, I would say, is an emotion. And just like jealousy and envy, it's considered a pathetic emotion because it's considered having a weak spot. But you have to be honest with yourself, be honest with others. Cuz LET'S be honest, being dishonest with others is THE SAME as being DISHONEST WITH YOURSELF cuz YOU know the truth; you're lying to others it means you're lying to YOURSELF. And I personally have been the type of person to desperate-shame people, but that really is because I'm a desperate person myself, and I get so melancholic and so depressed and don't know what to do. When I desperate-shame people, it just makes me more and more of a hypocrite, but let's be real, EVERYBODY can be hypocritical at least ONCE IN A WHILE. So let's just all take it easy on ourselves, okay? 😉😍🥰😘
