Butters is a hopeful, genuine, and strong person, his philosophy is a mix of his Christian beliefs with the ¨Will to power¨ ideal of Nietsche making Butters a life-affirming Nietzschean struggler: he never backs down in the face of misery but instead, he embraces his suffering and overcomes it never losing his faith in a better tomorrow! praise be to Butters and his innate existential and metaphysical understanding that to embrace suffering is to embrace happiness: he truly is Nietsches Ubermensch.

Goth is short for Gothic, which is a medieval style of architecture. From the dark ages. Many churches have Gothic architecture, including gargoyles, intended to scare off evil spirits. Crosses are prevalent in Goth fashion.
