Because she actually did her job as a parent for once. Exaggerated for the show, or course, but in relaity being firm with kids is the only way to get them to do what they need to. If you just agree to their demands, they never grow as a person. Balance is key, and consistency is VERY important too. Nothing worse than a kid who doesn't know what the boundaries are because a parent flip flops between pushover and stern, creating a very unique healthy dynamic.
@@qwilza_ayy Good for you I think??? Sorry that I found something funny and typed just about the same thing that like most of the other people who watched this typed because they also enjoyed it I guess
@@dragosanders4234 well this is a new wisdom. Because one of the very first episodes said. After she slept with the whole city, the native American guy, the chef and the entire team of Denver broncos ,she impregnated herself
I love how he says “whoa mom what the hell?!!” When she pulls out her own gun 🤣 like he can’t believe she pulled out a gun on him while he’s holding one on her 😂 the audacity ☠️
This is Cartman we’re talking about. He doesn’t care about how his actions affect others but gets defensive/plays the victim when the roles are reversed.
@@JG-fj6xqnot really, their general take on things is that extremism is bad. So they’re not against guns, but definitely think there’s a lot of people that take “their right to own a gun” way too far. In this case, their commentary is just that a literal gun is an effective way to get people to do what you say.
@@JG-fj6xq There are very few people who are anti-gun. It's just that most people who are called anti-gun are really just pro-gun laws, because they believe that we need stricter gun laws so we have less school shootings, and make it more difficult for guns to get into the hands of people who shouldn't be using them. However, the pro-gun extremists will lie and say that they're trying to take the guns away, which is not true. They just want to make sure you are mentally stable enough to own and safely use a gun, and that you keep it secure and away from children when not in use.
@@swearimnotarobot3746 Yes South park think that every criminal, every mental ill and every terrorist should be entitle to have millitary weapon without any background check... You are really dumb to buy the crazy propaganda of the NRA. Having a gun serve to shoot your wife and that's the only reason anybody might want a pistol... Or is mental ill and jerk on it...
"Oh, my means of control has been equalized, as my mother is also willing to draw a weapon on me. I suppose we're back to the normal parent-child dynamic"- The sliver of self-awareness in Cartman's subconscious.
The whole running joke of this episode was everyone pulled guns on each other for everything. At some point, Garrison, Kyle, Stan, and the old school principal had an entire stadium of people pointing guns at each other.
This statement is largely true. The caveat is that when things do escalate that leads to a literal arms race. There is fundamentally no difference between a Mexican stand-off and the Mutually Assured Destruction pact beyond scale. The matter is simply to provide an incentive for the other guy to not pull the trigger
Look, sometimes the ones you love become giant mutant cannibals and you have to put them down. It doesn't mean you love them any less. Hollywood taught me that.
Well just don’t do it! How would you dare do this? This is their basically freedom rights! you can’t Tell then when they need go to sleep! Even the most little children too can decide this. This is their basic autonomy!
@@vilagistene2939Giving children a bedtime gives them a sense of structure. It indicates to them the beginning and the end of their day and establishes a schedule to follow. Kids don't understand the importance of sleep, so you have to set them up for scheduled rest so they know when they are supposed to sleep. Even if they are not sleepy, they need to be in their room and in bed at night until they fall asleep.
So, what this shows us is that Cartman values self-preservation over victory. While his intense revenge plots do paint the picture of a madman who will do anything to get his way, this shows that he DOES have a limit. Or maybe it was precisely because it was his mom, who would normally do ANYTHING for him. It's a rare instance for her to assert absolute parental authority, and she completely took away his power by drawing her own gun, and Eric wasn't ready for that.
This made me think about something that just happened. A brother and sister were arguing over Christmas gifts and the brother ended up shooting his sister in the chest. Their other brother then came and shot him, for shooting their sister
@@cenyonJacobsen Well, as a country you have little to be proud of, 64% of ur states shit. & that's only 36% of all US states that don't punish the innocent, reward the guilty, don't declare the guilty innocent & the innocent declared guilty in law & reputation, i.e red states. The rest are worse than Britain automatically, with varying degrees of Kensington & California, with "as bad as K, Philly & Cali" = as bad as hell, "half as bad" meaning poverty, "not at all like Kensington or Cali" means a prosperous red state & only its non-corrupted areas.
