You know how many times a hand has to slap a button to remove paint like that?! This pin was PLAYED and LOVED. And you've restored it for your enjoyment and for whoever you pass it on to. Killer job dude. Long live SEGA pins! (Look into pinsound)
I've got a pinsound in my Data East Jurassic Park and it's awesome. This one doesn't feel like it needs it though since the speech callouts and everything are already the actual character voices.
CoolToy, To this day, South Park is the most balanced pinball machine I've ever played. All the goals are open from the start and it's just a blast! Even though Haunted House is still my favorite, nostalgia-wise, South Park is my favorite play experience. Amazing restore! vgv
I’ve always heard South Park was a good earner on location. I just don’t really trust my machine wouldn’t get destroyed in some of the common places where pins are set up for location play in my area
Absolute beautiful restoration. The colours just pop and it looks more modern. The colour dmd was a great idea. Really brings the pin to life. Great job Doug!
I knew I wanted the Color DMD right from the get go, it just ended up being poor timing that the company went completely out of stock when I needed one. So lots of emails and phone calls had to be made before I finally tracked one down, but it was so worth it.
@@cooltoy I get it completely!.I have been restoring a Mata Hari and can't decide ehat color I want to do the legs, armor , and coin door.. because once it's done... its done!. I am thinking I am just gonna go mettalic black though
This came out great!! I just finished restoring my Revenge from Mars. The cabinet took a lot of time especially due to someone put new side art on so it didn't have the original silk screen art and I had to get all the glue off. I made my own topper for mine as well, it came out great. At some point I need to start on my Baby Pac-Man. I can tell from you game play you didn't put in the tilt bob. lol
Amazing job, you really brought it back from the grave and made it better than straight out of the box 20+ years ago with the mods, leds and add ons you did. One thing I think you forgot was to put the tilt bob back in when reassembling. 😜
South park is an awesome pinball machine, the arcade near me has a white water fully restored with all the snow mods it's so pretty and my favourite pinballachine. I wish I could afford to own one
Whitewater is a great game, always kicks my but when I play it on a local machine near me. It's really started to climb in value over the last few years too. Commands a big chunk of change in good condition, rightfully so though, it's a wonderfully well rounded game.
lol I was a few shots away from the wizard mode, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. Now I just need the weather to cool down some, because playing in the garage when it's 97 degrees outside is getting a bit rough.
Wow that’s so DOPE! Congrats on your killer restoration! all that effort sure paid off seeing final result. Looks amazing. One day hoping to have my own true pinball. Great video bro!
Turned out beautiful Doug. This is my favorite restoration so far. Love the color on the coin mech. LED DMD definitely pops. Topper looks better than others I've seen. And how can you not have affection for Cartman? That offensive little sh@!... respect my authoritaaaa!
Thanks Paul, I’m happy with how it turned out. Happy it’s all finished and I can play it regularly. Feels like I had the table torn apart in some fashion or another more than anything since I brought it home.
I've got an old beat up SP, gonna have to bring it back to glory like you did yours, looks great! Did you powdercoat the coin door and shooter or just paint it white?
I have a South Park Pinball and am interested in doing some upgrades. Where did you get the art work done and the Blue powdering for the trim? Looks amazing.
Dude that looks amazing. You did a great job on this and can't believe how well it turned out. The blue molding looks good. I know you've heard me say this a lot but I really need to get a real pinball at some point. One day.
@@cooltoy That would be a hard choice if I'm putting retro in the mix. Currently I want either a TMNT, Godzilla, or Ghostbusters. Maybe Stern will do a buy one get two free? Jk
I like the LCD version as it does everything the LED version does, and then adds more. Nice to have the additional settings and display styles to me. Only took about 20 mins to install.
@@cooltoywhat were you able to buy this for? Would love to get a pinball machine for the house, but no way my wife is letting me spend $10k these new ones go for
@@cooltoy yeah, you do what you like. After all it is your machine. I just think it looks off with solid color instead of dots. It's cool that you can change it
