Isaac Hayes' son confirmed a few years ago that everything involving Isaac quitting the show was the Church speaking on his behalf. The public statement was doctored, and his actual quitting was the Church taking advantage of the stroke he'd just had by getting in his ear and telling him to quit, knowing he was too sick to think for himself. So that line about the Church of Scientology "ruining a cool guy" wasn't an exaggeration AT ALL. Don't blame Isaac Hayes, blame that fruity little club.

Seasons 5-11 has the highest ratings on imdb by far. I think that season 8 is the highest rated, then season 11, then season 5 and 6 (don’t know what order) and then 7, 9, 10 (don’t know what order).
I'm glad to hear my suspicions with Chef were confirmed in the commentary. They very much wrote the situation into the episode. Not only did they intentionally made the character say things he wouldn't want to say but I also believe the way they killed him was very much intentional even finishing it off with the corpse crapping all over. It's hard not to think there was a bit of vindication going on.
It was sad because I loved Chef . To this day he’s the only adult character that had a constant trust relationship with the kids. I actually enjoyed how they sought him out for many issues . But yeah religion sucks ass so the end of chief was needed
I think the Oprah episode is one of the funniest shits everrrrr lmao as a kid I hated it & thought it was stupid 10 years later I think it’s fucking gold lol Anything with towelie is pretty hard to not be funny honestly
In Season 10 Episode 4 is Mr.Mackey speaking to the whole school but in the same scene Mr.Mackey is sitting in audience too,he is on 2 places at the same time. Later in the scene you can see Mr.Mackey and Mr.Garrison standing in front of a big door one second later you can see Mr.Mackey and Mr.Garrison sitting in audience with the rest of the school.
31:30 - I believe in this only more recently. Edward Snowden, who worked among these agencies at the time, admitted that the agencies just bailed out and made all the staff go home (himself at the DOD at the time). His recognition of 9/11 was that the agencies were competing with one another rather than cooperating to bust the terrorist plot. I believe otherwise and that these people at the top WERE complicit in facilitating it. I don't doubt childishness and lack of accountability among elites drove the disaster, but there's still so much more in lieu of the events, and that fuck-all really happened for years thereafter make it all the more suspicious, still (aside from the FBI trying to FORCE terrorism within the states to justify their abuse of power- fact). What this 'evidence' Matt & Trey speak of was all the ridiculous ideas brought to the public attention, which isn't unusual given the infamous tactics the likes of the CIA employed their entire history to perpetuate such lies and confusion. Yet, the public are fucking stupid and can easily spread the 'jet fuel' bullshit themselves of course, so as ever it's impossible to grasp anything truthful. Still very easy to blow off all conspiracies as 'silly' though when 'theories' like that make it to the top of the pile for the world to mock. The whole fucking thing still stinks, especially when you consider what immediately became because of it and the world we live in as a result. The REASON Ed Snowden blew the whistle in the first place was the exploitation of power that mass-surveillance brought. Which was of course, all illegal and secretly conducted.
It’s amazing how high their standards are for the show. I thought A Million Little Fibers was hilarious because of how over the top and dumb it was, and they hate it.
Learning that Matt and Trey actually have a lot of respect for Cesar Milan hits different. I thought they were making fun of him in that episode somehow.
You thought they were making fun of him? That was probably the most accurate and nicest portrayal they ever did of any celebrity. They made him the hero and there was nothing in it that made him look like anything but what he looks like doing his show on TV. As they say here, they always figured most of the lessons also apply with your kid. If you don't assert yourself and let your kid or dog walk all over you they are going to be a nightmare that nobody else likes. Jordan Peterson stated this in his book 12 rules for life number 5 is " don't let your children do anything that makes you dislike them" making the exact same argument.
Feel kinda sad about the whole chef thing he was a great character its a shame that things went bad just before he died in real life Hmm. A good season overall though season 10!
the comments about Blizzard have aged like a fine wine - meaning, the people at Blizzard have ALWAYS been pieces of trash, and even back then, they were making fun of people playing THIER game.
It was , I believe they did it out of rage because they did have such a strong relationship prior to the Scientology episode. I personally didn’t like it but I understand it.
I would love to talk to Matt & Trey about God and their thoughts are on what God is and stuff. Not to argue, debate, or evangelize, just to see what they believe. Come on.
So you think there’s not a single thing we’ve been lied to about?? Nothing. Your government loves you and always tells you the truth? They didn’t assassinate Martin Luther king? They don’t pit people against each other with pointless nonsense while they spend our money? We’re alone in the universe? Aliens, all that, just science fiction? You don’t have to believe the government fired shit into the towers as opposed to terrorists hijacking the planes to be suspicious. Every theory has a ridiculous extreame. Just because somebody believes aliens exist doesn’t mean they also believe they abduct cows and turn them inside out and harvest farts all for some plan to invade the earth or replace us with some alien human hybrid x files shit. Just because somebody thinks stories about Bigfoot, the Loch Ness monster, whatever is neat, doesn’t mean they believe they all hang out with Elvis on sundays. It’s not black and white like that but if you’re happy in your little Perfect utopian dream have at it.
American citizen 1st amendment right no offence but I couldn’t be bothered reading that I stopped at MLK. You’re the guy Matt and Trey are talking about 🤣
What a shocker, somebody ignorant can’t fathom reading, what? A paragraph? Lol thanks for contributing to the notion that ignorance is more powerful than knowledge and curiosity. It’s doing wonders for us so far
The fact you stopped at king is pretty funny though. That’s one of the most known. That the cia was watching king and Malcolm x, on Kennedy’s order. You don’t know much history do you? It’s thanks to people like you that 60 year old full grown adults can walk around saying slavery wasn’t the cause of the civil war.
Sorry, I love these guys. not even from the US. But sadly, it is easily verifiable that Kerosene cannot melt steel unless it is in a blast furnace for at least half an hour... Buildings don't collapse into their footprint during a pancake collapse...It is also undeniable that a 747 did not hit the Pentagon... The hole was tiny and windows were not broken by 6 tonnes of engine travelling at over 500 mph. Building 7 fell to the ground in 5 seconds... Love South Park.. Super funny guys... Much like most, the facts cannot be argued in 9/11 but the premise seems so far fetched that basic common sense is ignored.....
Matt and Trey are super hypocritical when they talk about how Richard Dawkins pisses people off with the tone of his book considering how they do the exact same thing to celebrities. Maybe celebrities would respond better if you made the jokes surrounding them more general instead of a direct insult. Even if the attitudes to suck, you're contributing to the hostility.
