So sad that this is the last season commentary they recorded. I’ve enjoyed hearing from them since the Fireside Chat days from the initial VHS days. I always felt like I was catching up with old friends when I listened to these for the last almost two and a half decades. Now I feel like I’m being ghosted and that I’ve truly lost my childhood friends.
Its gonna be ok there about to do big things in the coming years. Hopefully bigger than ever! Sure things suck right now and probably will until next year or even later. But they will return.

sad to know they stopped the commentarys. just started listening to them since i didnt grow up with the dvds and south park is my favorite show of all time. hearing matt and trey talk about there creative process is so interesting to me, probably seen six days to air 7+ times so having these deep dives into every episode is so special, thx for uploading them man!
We should start a petition asking them to do these again for season 23 and forward. We all know they hate doing them but maybe they will find it funny if we get enough signatures showing we love them and would like them back and maybe they will do em again? Idk......

The guy who did 6 days to air has been filming them for another documentary. Not sure when it will be released, but he’s been getting footage for like 8 years I think.
It's too bad that they hate doing these. When someone is inspired and has an incredible vision that ends up making something awesome, there are always going to be people who want to do a deep dive and find out how the visionary(ies) got there and what they think.
I'm honestly hoping the reason we never got the Season 23 commentary was because of covid messing up scheduling and stuff and not because they just refuse to do it now or something. Because it's honestly a huge shame if this is the last South Park commentary we get, I love listening to these throughout the day and getting work done and stuff, they're the only people who I never get sick of listening to, they're way more entertaining and interesting than they think imo.
I love this it's so sad that this is our only connection to them is through these commentaries, but it's so awesome. I honestly love them they're my favorite part because it's such a fantastic, interesting creation and it's one of the best shows of all time if not, the most creative it's amazing

One of the reasons I've stopped buying the show on bluray it's cos of the missing commentaries. I live in Italy and getting one of these boxset can be quite expensive cause of the shipping, and after season 24 these blurays have cheaper case, only one disc, more expensive than before and with no special features. Also... I consider the special events part of the seasons and getting them in a separate disc with cheap cover and no extras doesn't really worth it to me. Right now I prefer to wait a good deal or (I hope) that it the future they will release them again with more care and love 🙂
I thought there might’ve been a little more to that manbearpig vs satan fight. Which was obviously copied from the hulk vs abomination, I was thinking it was their respect to Stan Lee since he passed away about a week or 2 before that episode aired

I suspect there will be more commentaries and theyll play catchup. But theyll hate doing them 😂 Im surprised streaming services havent included commentaries in with their content in a meaningful way. Seems crazy to me. Guess theyre waiting for dvds n blu ray to truly completely die first

Hard disagree. Tegridy Farms kinda renewed Randy and people aren't used to it as much especially when Randy was already one-note before he became a farmer.
They are genius of doing some great episodes but they are so fucking stupid about commentary. Fans love to hear what was behind their favorite episodes, even tho they dont remember shit. For example; Alexandre playing George Costanza on Seinfield explaining when he realize George is based on Larry David is super fucking cool detail that we could've never know.
@@kinnikuboneman You're right, I need a really high IQ to enjoy Season 22 of South Park. The Tegridy Farms plot was like 50,000 layers deep and I just couldn't follow it.
Late 2010s was not a great time for South Park. It was terrible. Thankfully the show slowly seems to be getting better. They're still trying to make Tegridy Farms and Weed jokes but there's been rays of hope like the teenagers episode that came out recently.
