The "derp" story at 42:40 is absolutely hilarious. I remember Trey and Matt using "derp" in BASEketball, Mr. Derp in an episode of South Park and to make fun of Rob Schneider movie trailers.
BaseKetBall was very clever & funny…plus it had the Late Great Dale Earnhardt, Kareem Abdul, Joey Diaz, the Smokin’ Hot: Victoria Silvstedt, Yasmine & Jenny Mac, Ernest Borgnine & Robert Vaughn, ESPN & CBS Sports Guys, Reggie F’n Jackson and Kato Kaelin. how incredible was that supporting & starring cast?
@@dynamicvoltage9765 this is the original. It's a podcast. There was never any video. This podcast tends to get really special guests, too bad I hate the host
Because chris hardwick is a bad interview and there were probably many boring parts that needed to be cut out and also maybe parts cut out because he didnt want to offend hollywood personalities that trey badtalked.
On the Oscars vs. Tony thing-pretty much everyone who wins a Tony literally “sings for their supper” on that night. The go out on stage and risk looking really dumb and vulnerable right before they have to be judged. I guess the songs at the Oscars do that but you don’t have to go up there and perform a monologue live.
around the 15:00 mark i'm saddened by this convo because i was hoping trey could maybe be swayed into at least considering the possiblity of a cutscene driven game because as they are apart of ubisoft, they have the techware to handle choice-based games. could you imagine a south park game that has, in a way, several stories/outcomes to run through because of the pathing. imagine the dumb ending that makes no sense, or maybe the super secret ending that can only be unlocked by something just sooo stupid but clever.
Family Guy is not funny. I'm not saying I don't enjoy it, but it's never gotten more than a quick exhale "laugh" from me. I like the show and Seth MacFarlane, but the show just doesn't quite hit the bar of "funny" for me. "Entertaining", "amusing", yes. It could qualify as "stoner comedy", where you need to be high to *truly* find it funny. I hate to use this as an example because it just makes me look like a South Park shill and Family Guy hater, but SP's episode series on Family Guy hit it right on the nose. It's just an automated combination of random setups and punchlines.
south park always had very loose continuity and stretchable reality ..not sure why you need a whole season of it...its not like every episode ever is just a stand alone with no call backs continuation or references ...thy literally ended season on a cliffhanger and then said fuck it for a week
They’ve talked about it interviews before. That was how tv was done in the era they came up in. With streaming etc you don’t need to write singular one off episodes. The only did it back in the day because of how reruns worked.
Im here for trey parker, this is youtube not spotify, cut your blabble from the beginning, makes me want to be snide and not look into you because ive started annoyed at you
@@JD-ul2bt You know I might not be worth $600 million dollars, but at least my name doesn’t show up when you look up ‘despicable me cast’ on google. It’s the little things.
