Well okay, but isn't it obvious that they love eachother already? Like, of course you love your best friend, but could you explain why one of them would fall in love with the other? To me, it seems that there's no underlying tension between them, that they're just doing 'lovey' stuff because they're genuinely Super Best Friends.

Celina 12388 The reason people ship them does not lie in the show itself but in the way the fandom interprets each character. Yes, in the show they are just friends. But I like the way fandom Stan and Kyle go so well together because it's wholesome and not for example toxic like Kyman and that is what I prefer. Same goes for every yaoi ship. Like Creek. Makes no sense based on the show but people still ship it for some reason.

If it's not too much trouble, can you explain how the Style fandom interprets Stan? To me, he's just an alcoholic asshole that only cares about his image who relies way too much on Kyle. Don't be offended, but I think Style has the ability to be equally, if not more toxic than Kyman. Take for example, the episodes You're Getting Old and Assburgers. In those episodes, he goes to Kyle to help him with the fact that he's shitty. For a while, Kyle helps him but eventually can't manage anymore. Instead of letting him go, he opts to drag him down with him, essentially manipulating him into going back to him by saying he "I love you." only to screw him over once he gets close. How's that wholesome?
