Susan Westwood was caught on video harassing two African American women in a South Park parking lot. She called police, and was charged with misuse of the 911 system. Wednesday, she appeared in court for the first time.
She lost her job, her appartment, gained a legal history, got mandatory group civility treatment and end up with a reputation she deserved . Karma so well deserved.

As a non-white in the US, I stay away from communicating with white people all together, which is sad. I use to have great respect for white people and what they have done to the world, but not recently.

I love the two lady's walking arm in arm. I used to walk like that with my grandmother (Omi) back in Germany during my childhood. Watching that just gave me homesickness. I miss how things used to be. 😢

You're being too literal. She's not rejoicing that 3 people got murdered. She's trying to minimize her crime by suggesting they should focus on more "important" things, like murder and go easy on her crimes. Hope they don't.

The one over arching thread that runs through many of these incidences is people who pay for a nice place, they are given a "special" key fob, or passcode and as they sit in their apartments patting themselves on the back and feeling superior, part of their glee is that they have "arrived" and the little people are down there and outside their protective spaces. When they see back people in those spaces, they cannot believe they live there, because if so, then they are faced with the realization that they really aren't that special.
Damn, id be happy to see anyone else there. Like, "oh, you are winning life too? Congratulations!" Those poor innocent women achieved that mark and were made to feel like they automatically did not belong because they were black. This world. Stay safe and happy everyone ❤
Just because black people are there does not signify they aren't special. You can be special and so can anyone, regardless of race. Sorry but that came off a little wrong and made it look like the presence of people of color means you havent arrived..Maybe you meant in their mind. Having things the way they want doesn't mean they are successful either. Being a decent human being and serving others makes you a success, no matter who you are.

I think you are deliberately trying to misconstrue reality there. She was laughing at the idea of police using their time to arrest her at a time when others were being murdered. I'm pretty sure anyone can tell she was clearly not laughing at the idea of 3 people having their lives taken. When she comes to herself, she said what did do last and it keeps playing over and over in her head. Now she has embarrassed herself . Walking around peeping out the window at the place she made a complete fool of herself. She even discard from the white privilege club.

In court on Wednesday, a judge sentenced Westwood to 12 months of unsupervised probation and ordered her to pay court costs. She was also ordered to participate in community support meetings and “any after-care alcohol programs recommended as a result of her substance abuse assessment.”
Certain groups of people just keep bothering others. Historically, this has been the case. Just leave people alone. No need to show your insecurities, frustrations with yourselves and your weakness.
They need to use her for an example of what will happen when false accusations are made against people because that was senseless and hateful what she did to those ladies smh.
She was completely in the wrong in the parking lot but that does not mean she has any obligation to speak to the reporters. How did they expect her to react?
