Mr. Slave’s punishment is among my favorite moments in South Park. You have to watch Kenny Dies, Ladder to Heaven, Professor Chaos, and Simpsons Already Did It to understand some of what they’re saying. Perhaps also an earlier episode called Succubus.
The Mr slave character is hysterical. I wish they had him on more. When he rectally engulfed the baby batter belching Paris Hilton, he became an instant hero in my eyes.
So in case you were not aware, this episode the previous episode in the season(Return Of The Fellowship To The Two Towers). We're both made in the build-up to the release of The Two Towers into theatres. And because Matt and Trey are such huge Lord of the Rings fans both are in the style of Lord of the Rings. Fellowship does a parody of the film whereas this with the lemmiwinks story is a parody of The rankin-bass Hobbit cartoon. Later on they parody The Return of the King done by rankin-bass in an episode titled bass to mouth. And the character model particularly used for Cartman in the fellowship episode is later reused during the Black Friday Trilogy and then into the Stick of Truth
Yeah, the music is very similar. I think they pretty much rip off a melody of that Hobbit cartoon in a later Lemmiwinks episode. It's a little known fact that it was hippie counterculture that first adopted Hobbit and LotR and made it more popular. They do that hippie song voice here.
"Did he cure cancer?!" Well, no, but he does cure something else otherwise permanent. In all seriousness, they seem to have strong amnesia for his worst. See "Le Petit Tourettes" sometime.
Next episode i recommend you react to *Season 15, Ep. 10 - Bass to Mouth* BONUS TRACK 🔥 Season 8, Ep. 10 - *Preschool* 🔥 Season 10, Ep. 10 - *Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy* 🔥 S 11, Ep. 2 - *Cartman S**ks*
lol. I remember when some guy called me the nword when I was walking to the bus stop and I started laughing out of surprise. Like wow dude really?! What a simpleton
Another great reaction to one of my favorite episodes. But I do need to be a little pedantic. Lemmiwinks is a Gerbil, not a rat. They are different species of rodent. Gerbils being the ones usually kept as pets. I hope everyone is having an amazing week & the weekend just gets better. Much love to all from here in the UK
This episode is so prophetic about the wokeness these are pretty much schools in America no longer about ABC’s math since ect. Its all about extreme tolerance and progressive seminars all class and if you moan about it you get expeled for intolerance. Because like you said there blind to the actions of that person cause of there group. Its also very crazy with Lemiwinks journey I love it.
I've been subscribed to this channel for several months I'm really really really really really really starting to like this channel thank you for your reactions
The Kenny (in Cartman’s body) story starts on s5e13 Kenny Dies…. Then carries on through all of season 6. Primarily though in episodes 12-15 A Ladder to Heaven through The Biggest Douche in the Universe. You already saw this ep 614. s6e13 only just references what happened just a little but should most definitely be watched because you should know why Fisting Firemen 9! …Isn’t shit! 🤣
It's out of a simple desire to be socially accepted rather than loathed. Simple as that. Most people are not thinkers, are not daring, and are not men of deep substance.
Bro i know you've only been doing south park since its gotten more viewers and subs but i honestly think you can react to much more like comedies and since you're a musician you can even listen to and breakdown some songs thats some viewers might want you to check out you seem like s cool dude to watch keep it up 🤟
I understand our guy is a child... But as a German with a presumed familiarity with Catholics.. I would expect him to be familiar with positions 1 thru 7...
Ppl say South Park predicted our current society but I think it inadvertently inspired today's silly ideologies lol. I wonder how Matt & Trey feel about life imitating their comedy. 😂
Thank you, I really appreciate it! I try to keep as much of the content as possible, otherwise it seems a bit disrespectful, not showing the full context :)
This episode isn't prophetic, 20 years ago was just the previous wave of PC culture and forced tolerance to the point of ridiculousness. Each wave seems to get worse, so it was just a matter of pattern recognition, though I'm sure Matt and Trey never thought it would actually get as bad as it is in the episode when they made it.
Just randomly jumping to rec episodes means you get almost no progression or context. Scott Tenorman thing is always blown out of proportion and held up as if that is now Cartman 100% of the time. All the kids and probably most of the adults of SP have done things just as bad, lots of deaths and killings through accident or purpose. Scott thing was just more personal and engineered. Garrison isn't really being a sick queer here genuinely, he is purposefully going as extreme as thinks he can, he wouldn't normally be doing all this. Cartman really is quite nasty and evil in the camp.
7:08 Wait a minute... if the stereotype is that "all Asians are good at math" then why does he have a calculator? If they're that good at maths, then they should be able to do it without one!
