@@mostsatisfied1053 yeah right shut up. Fucking straight haters lmao. Rayman is still good, so until it isn't you have no reason to think that will change, it has been a franchise for MANY years after all.
I think the more episodes you make the harder it gets to make another one cause you've already done everything. At least that's what if must feel like to them i bet
Yeah been watching since day one still do, but the newer episodes somehow feels less ridiculous and less “grand” if that makes sense compared to the old ones
Great game, I love how it tosses in the inside jokes for the fans of the show while also coming up with new comedy to add to the depth of it all! 10/10 would play again!
James R I've made a character but I want to keep him but I also want to experiment with new options like gender and religion and kyriptonite. And also make a complete new character, But I also want to keep my main one.
YOUR MUM AKA TEDDY well also with gender and everything you can also switch whenever. Idk i mean u can try to start q new game but just make sure you dont save over your other file
So if the first South Park was basically Game of Thrones/Lord of the Rings and this one is Marvel/DC this means one thing ... the next entry will be an FPS like Battlefield and Call of Duty Edit: Or an open world sandbox game like GTA and Saints Row
The jokes are great, visuals are amazing and I actually enjoy the combat. I can see how it gets repetitive, but they throw some wrinkles in here and there and I really like the thought that goes into planning a battle out with the new positioning. It's never overwhelming hard, but I like when I play it and I can execute a plan perfectly to where I take no damage or destroy the 6th graders in like 2 turns. Great game overall, especially for fans of the show (which I've watched from the beginning and never stopped. I did stop buying DVDs and Blu Rays of every season after 17 though.)
+Eschaton Zenith at least he's getting puss and not questioning people's masculinity, seems pretty gay. Would you rather he lift weights and drink raw eggs while he talks about VIDEO GAMES.
I think the game is fun to play because it captures your inner kid to be a superhero with a good selection of powers, the story I haven't finished but I believe it is a nice change from the last game and I'm wondering about how the dlc's will fit in the story
Undizz i got destiny 2, nba 2k18, south park fractured butwhole, and pre ordered star wars battlefront 2 along with cod ww2. Feels good to have money and not be broke 😊
I have been a fan of South Park since I can remember. The show has changed but still makes me laugh just like the old seasons. I say this game alone should be in the top picks for game of the year. With zero micro payments and originality it has a strong standing for it. Your views on games are very informative and I do enjoy your insight on them. All in all The Fractured But Whole is a great game.
This is the first time I've ever disagreed this much. I really like it so far and I love the combat compared to the first game. And it's not always easy to avoid enemies during combat sometimes you have really limited options.
Love that South Park went with the turn based rpg style for this game. I didn't really play the stick of truth but now I regret not beating it. add in a little more strategic stuff to the combat and maybe like some south park themed magic spells and some more summons and I believe these games could have a very bright future.
I love South Park. I do admit the recent years haven't been as good as previous, but just because they aren't quite as funny as the previous season's doesn't mean there isn't enjoyment to be found. Fan for life
thatoneguy from the internet SoT was harder? You kidding? This game, especially on mastermind can wipe out you in a blink. And almost every bosses can give you a hard fight and a clutch win in SoT? easy as hell just do bleeding and burning to all enemies and you can power through the game
shinryu Yeah. an 8 year old could beat SOT with no problem. But this one is suprisingly more difficult then i expected and i'm not even playing on mastermind.
been watching since the beginning. I'm won of those people who thinks they a great in all the social commentary they have done. Bought the game when released because I'm against pre-ordering (holy crap I'm sounding like PC principal) but I am loving all the stuff. Didn't expect that much of the mechanics of the game, much like the last game what kept me playing was the comedy you kind find. Harms the replay ability because you only laugh at jokes the first time. none the less I'm happy with the purchase.
Is this game worth it on sale with all DLC on Switch for $36? I'm not sure if it is or not, but I really enjoy South Park, but not a HUGE fan of RPGs, but I do feel like I want this game, just don't know if the value is there, because I also own a Ps4 Pro and a One X on top of it, so I'm fairly sure I can get this almost 2 year old game for pretty cheap on those systems.
Honestly finished this game in 2 days and I loved it, the combat can get tough at some point towards the end but I do agree it can get stale at some points
Loved the game and its one of the few games where i love exploring and love the secondary mission! I don't mind the 16hrs it took me to finish but man that ending felt kind of rushed to me
As a gamer who's watched probably only 1-3 (incomplete) episodes of South Park, and never really became a fan, I actually really enjoyed this game! Battle mechanics can be a little tedious, but overall very fun! The jokes were hit-or-miss but I definitely enjoyed the game being riddled with hundreds of them. 5/7 for me.
My one thing with this game: anyone who legit feels insulted by this game *CLEARLY* shouldn’t be playing a South Park game to begin with It’s fucked up man but it’s what makes it good. It’s not a South Park game but it’s a game in South Park I guess. It’s meant to be wrong.
Mindy Auron too many people get their feelings hurt in 2017 but on me though South park has been doing this ever since they started and that's why everyone loves South park.
The fights and game moments are enough to keep you interested, but then the immersion is broken when you have to do fetch quests and walk throughout the same three streets over and over and over again. They want you to pass the same place a thousand times so you'll remember to go back when you have the correct buddy to help you with a certain puzzle, but it gets so old after a while.
I really enjoyed the game, I don't watch south park that often anymore but I still got most of the jokes and references, my only complaint is that the final boss fight and the ending feel empty compared to the stick of truth ending, but despite that I'm still going to replay the game as a different class
I feel the same way about the game. I was hoping it would be an even deeper dive than the first one but it came off cookie cutter with no surprises. I still watch the show consistently even at its worst it's still seems funnier than anything else I could be watching.
I've been a fan of the show since day one. I feel like this sequels jokes are crap compared to the first games. In fact, half of them are the exact same jokes recycled. There are a couple times where it's pretty funny but nothing is really "over the top" or "out there" like the last game. The only thing better about this game is the new combat system, which is still basically the same system but with a chess board layout. I own the game, and my opinion is that it is NOT worth the $60 price tag. Wait till it's 30 or 40. You're basically paying $60 for a LOT of farting. I thought South Park grew out of that phase. I guess not. Their show got intelligent, but apparently the game is still 13 years old.
Long time show fan. I personally find the show's deeper and funnier as time has gone on. I have loved the game so far, I play it to laugh, not for the RPG element. In the first five minutes I was laughing hard and having a ball. They put the time in and made it worth playing multiple times, which was also a feature of The Stick Of Truth.
This game had the most perfect of transitions compared to most games. You first start off with the Stick of Truth but then you get lead to the Fractured But Whole. I love how they included both in one game.
The only DLC that is available right now is a $5 pack with Artifacts and Costumes from The Stick of Truth. But that is included in the Season Pass, which is $30. The DLC if purchased seperately will most definitely be more than $30 for everything, so really it depends if you really like the game or not. I think I'll get it when I can, really enjoying the game.
"If you turn your brain off". This was the best game that I could identify as being well suited for the Nintendo Switch. I worked 2 weeks non stop to get a PS4 just so I could play AC Unity at release time. This is the reason I'll get a Switch even though it's fratured.
Been a fan since the beginning...still a fan...I'm think Matt Stone and Trey Parker will be remembered as two of the greatest creative/comedic talents the world has ever known. The show, the movies, the video games, Book of Mormon...need I say more? Maybe some people stopped watching the show because in recent years South Park has stuck a GIANT middle finger in the face of PC culture and there are some people who just can't handle it...sensitive snowflakes. Or maybe not...
I love this game it does so much better then the first game and the fighting is so much better to me. Plus while I know it is all a joke, the fact that I can make my character a transgender female just like meh made me feel really good like I could more personalize my character, and it made me feel happy when people from the show actually brought up and respected my gender identity, or at least made jokes about it. Then again I often like to joke and make fun of PC culture so I think I kind of fit into the section of people who are OK with the jokes
Yeah that, i don't really know how everybody looks, i only know that cartman is fat and that kenny dies a lot, and the fact that it's anime makes it more dificult.
He hasn't even played the game till 2nd half...has he ? That's y he doesn't even know how much positioning plays in the combat later in the game. U have so many superhero powers to swap from and he says not much option. Really disappointed from this review. Usually i like his stuff.
Bro, loved your thoughts. Dropped off too but that's what makes it so good. Endless content and most of their season are really good. I don't really care for the current stuff or politics they do just how they integrate into the show is great already.
I don't really watch the series of South Park, only the 1 movie and played Stick of Truth (hilarious piece if work) and loved it. Hope this could be as hilarious as always.
I've waited so long for this game, and I'm so excited to get it. I'm a big fan of the show, so you get why I am so excited. I loved the first game, and I think I'll love this one too.
After beating the game I will say that it felt like I was walking more and experience less of a narrative the game has main missions you need to progress through the story and side missions which can be fetch quests to really funny mini games but can get repetitive overall I definitely enjoyed the game I just wish that they would let you fast travel from anywhere in the map at anytime and their is running gag joke about the origin of your powers which I found hilarious although you might get sick of it because of how often it gets repeated should you get this game if you like South Park? definitely if you haven't played through stick of truth you should play that first just to get an idea of what this game will be like
I just 100% it (steam version), I loved it. I usually just run through the main story line of rpgs, with the exception of Elder Scrolls, Mass Effects, and Witchers, but this game I wanted to see every aspect of the game. It was a fantastic ride, I couldn't stop. I highly recommend it.
nosteam.ro and skidrow have a bigger catalog of newer games that get posted there very soon after the inital release date, they even include all day one dlc already preinstalled, patch's to fix things that went wrong when they cracked it
I pre ordered this game (not cause it's just that amazing, but because it allowed me to play the stick of truth on my ps4) and I haven't quite beat it yet but Tbh I love it, it's very clear that the south park writers are gamers or fans of games and that's nice. I would recommend this to anyone, however, if you're not a big fan of the show I would just wait it out for the price to drop to $40 or so. Definitely an enjoyable rpg.
