I studied chemistry, so I ended up sucking in quantum physics but developed a big interest in physics overall and I can explain everything back to the big bang. The big bang fills me with existential dread because by definition, you cannot look into what happened before the big bang using scientific methods. It is the most evil trick the universe plays with your mind. It gives you a philosophical tool to understand everything and close to the finish line of explaining the beginning it pulls a rug under you leaving you behind with an existential crysis of what the purpose of you understanding they way even was if you cannot finish it. The first time I had this feeling was from watching this South Park episode at a very young age. Good job there.

I always find it really strange how English uses the word "chicken" to describe the whole species. I can't think of any other kind of animal in any language where the word for the young is used to describe the entire species. It's quite bizarre, I would guess it has to do with food, but who knows.
