Same here. A private company would have sent a memo round to every branch in the country after the first few 'visits'. "Don't engage". I can't believe how long it took the police to do the same. Then I can't believe how nobody seems to have read that memo. Then you would have thought officers would have chatted about this sort of thing during their tea breaks. Yet every video from every auditor seems as fresh as the first.
Exactly you think they would have learnt by now even a donkey knows not keep walking when there is a cliff. Not this lot the plod they are like lemmings over they go one after the other
The worst thing about these interactions is that they walk up to a complete stranger and don't think it's rude to just start barking orders. When that absolute rudeness causes that person to be rude back, they act offended. "Why are you being rude sir???" That's what always annoys me the most.
It's the approaching from out of the Sun and the "Can I help you?" when they really mean "Do you mind if I try and take away your right to film in public, and make up some laws on the way"

I’m pretty sure police officers go through a lot of exams regarding communication skills? These women are so unprofessional it’s unreal. Imagine how rude they would be in uniform.

I remember once playing football on a field about 20 years ago the police had a complaint as it was technically private land (but wasn't causing anybody any harm). The police officer actually treated us teenagers like real people, they empathised, let us know of another place we could play and even had a 5 minute kickabout with us. That is how community policing should be. If the officer had started threatening us it would have went a lot differently.
Back when police used to police their local areas now they police areas they don’t live in so no repercussions. In my troublesome younger days i had loads of positive but some negative usually and honestly it’s been my fault if it’s been negative usually getting my back up … once had officers drive through the puddles when we were kids to soak us was great fun kept going round in circles haha I know what u mean makes a big difference
yes , fair play , lets at last hi-light the police officers that are polite and try to de-escalate and basically have a little banter, without the I am better and more powerful than you attitude, "I am police so do what I say" type of officers, credit to you officer , please try to educate your fellow officers
In most cases, the police are quite aware of your rights. They choose to ignore them because they are weak willed little toadies, drunk with unearned power, and should be ignored themselves, or, possibly, told to piss off.

its not just brit police, I am from Massachusetts and come here for 6 mths every year.. police in general are [they believe] above the public, they have no clue that the terrorist threat was created to take your rights away, I am not going to go into details because if I say too much the video will get pulled by utube, I check my notifications and every video that I mentioned something I have researched and found to be true has been deleted.. I would like to tell as many people as I could but youtube and other platforms will not let that happen...if you wish to get an idea what it is about research "grand solar minimum" I have some photo's and one vid left due to my site being destroyed by utube, they didn't ban me cause I really did nothing wrong but try to warn people of an incoming event, I am waiting for Trump's platform to be released early next year then I will see who besides NASA and the super rich knew about this...cheers!
they are horrendous in scotland we used to have statuatory stops untill 2017 and were jumped on routinley and had officers dirty hands down our underwear looking for drugs when i was 9 my pals also had this treatment or abuse lets be frank on what it is by police scotland pc peadophiles who for years visited the family of a 13yr old boy who killed an officer pc lewis foulton and routinley sexually harrased his teenage sisters for years in the familly home after the boy was jailed for murder despite sexually harrassing teenage girls in their home not one officer was sacked or jailed despite being caught on audio and video doing so they are disgusting both me and a friend have been stalked by these animals mine got moved north "only after being in nat papers" my pals unhinged pc cokehead steroid abuser is still in uniform to the police here are criminals how else can christime foulton cop charity chairwoman and founder keep tabs on her husbands killer and get his new identity perhaps her new policeman partner 🤔🤔🤔
I watch MANY audit videos from the US, and I have to say, from what I’ve seen on your channel, the police in the UK are WAYYYYY more paranoid over a camera than here!! Almost IMMEDIATE contact every time! 🤦♂️
I'd agree that the UK cops are more paranoid about the cameras, but I've seen plenty of American cop audits where the cop sees a camera and immediately touches his holster. If I was in America filming cops, and a cop rested his hand on his gun when he saw me, I'd probably shit myself 😂

AB when they say you're refusing to give details ask exactly why they think you're obliged to. "Refusal" implies that you're somehow required to give them
Standard police procedure, make everything you do or do not do sound like an offence. For instance "Hello sir, we noticed you breathing, do you have a permit for that?" implies you might need one. Of course walking up and saying "hello sir. are there any offences you wish to confess to today" probably has a low success rate.
The only thing that happens if your burgled is you and your neighbour's insurance will go up next year. The pigs will do nothing even if the person who did the burglary is caught on CCTV and identified. The police are not here for the public they are a self serving gang.

My Home Town! The three plain clothed officers were an absolute disgrace and embarrassment to the force. The uniformed constable however was a breath of fresh air and made me smile. Love the t-shirt too :-D And a proper cliffhanger ending!!

It stinks of stereotyping all people into one bad basket. But there again , it's often an approach like this that continuously diverts them away from the bigger difficult issues that they are unable to handle. Check out 1 very poor performance on UT "correct not political" " Charring Cross Station ... enjoy or go into despair hahah .. Obviously their KPI and appraisal does not include communication ?

They're absolutely hopeless, more coppers that haven't a clue what the law is or how to enforce it or how to respectfully address members of the public who are carrying-out a perfectly legal activity regardless of how "unusual" or "suspicious" they think it is. The training they are receiving with regard to "challenging" what they perceive as "suspicious" is clearly inadequate, when you've got numb-nuts like these that don't understand that it must be done in accordance with the LAW, not just their personal feelings/concerns. 🙄

@@geodun Good point. And maybe AB should remind them that, seeing as they are police officers, they obviously know he is allowed to be there and film anything he can see from a public area. And seeing as the police obviously know all that, then presumably they have already ensured there is no sensitive or personal information in sight and range of a camera. Oh, and by the way I have already looked at the sta-shon on Google Earth and there's nothing I can see from here that isn't already visible to everybody on the internet. So I can not possibly be a threat in any shape or form. Now booger off and allow me to carry on not breaking any laws.

Classic. Its his funny accent and sharp wit back with legal prowess and confronting danger that makes it all so interesting. Also an underlying resentment we all have of authority and arrogance.
Imagine how these clowns would behave if they weren't being recorded! Always record the police and never invite them into your home or willingly give up your rights. I've watched countless audit videos and the decent police can still be counted on one hand. They seem to be by and large lawless thugs.
After starting to watch these videos it took me about 10 seconds to work out that the best thing the police can do is ignore these people and then they would go away. For the life of me I can't work out why the police are so thick and choose to engage.
i think it's a power thing, not all police are the same thou, the smart decent types already know AB's rights in regard to public recording and don't jump to silly defensive conclusions, and are actually nice. Then theres the egotistic power hungry types that probably joined the force to feel in authority over others - sad muppets.
@@TheHungryTrollRawr only the ones that are conscious of looking like idiots on RU-vid be nice to AB, I've had encounters with at least 2000 cops, and only 2-300 did their jobs properly and possess fundamental human interaction skills. Though there has been a masive improvement in police around my area in recent years when I see that videos it seems the problem still exists everywhere else.
