I used to cycle from Sholing to Eastleigh in the early to mid 1970's to work a 12 hour shift in Prices bakery. After 12 hours I could hardly get my leg over the cross bar to ride home. I hardly recognise Eastleigh now, so many changes.
Thank you for uploading. That reminds me old days in Southampton. I and my wife lived in the Avenue and had a part time job in Eastleigh town center. I was delivery man driving my own car sending food across cities especially at night.
One of the great things about being in Eastleigh or Southampton is if you don’t like a place, they’re in a great central location to visit other interesting places.
