All because Whitney is not confident - we still haven't seen any other girlfriend of his on the show. He wants mother to convince Kathryn by showing her around the estate!!! No women in Charleston!

Aqua 44 you might be right as there is speculation that Whitbey might actually be gay. Patricia probably would prefer any woman she can mold over accepting that .Sleeping with Kathryn means nothing ,I know a gay man who was married twice and had children before he came out.

Kathryn is uncomfortable because she knows how wrong and guilty she feels about her midnight shenanigans. She's been sneaking into Whitney's bed because she wants the grand riches from Patricia, but she is also guilty of seeing Shep Rose whenever he calls on her. Thomas is bonded to her by the kids and she does still love Thomas, that I believe. So here she is feeling uncomfortable because she's a cheater, pretending to be a southern lady now. All I imagine now is the enmity and problems this will cause between all these men who are good friends and who work together on this show. It's not pretty. I'm sorry.
