This Southern Corn Pudding Casserole is a creamy mixture of whole kernel corn and creamed corn tossed in a sweet, creamy mixture made of eggs, melted butter, sugar, sour cream, vanilla extract, spices, and cornbread mixture. It is then baked until it is golden brown. Once done it has a “pudding” texture. This creamy Southern Corn Pudding Casserole is a perfect holiday dish. With whole kernel corn and creamed corn, it's a creamy, delicious casserole that will be the star of your holiday table.

0:20 - Here are the ingredients needed.
0:49 - Remove any lumps from the cornbread mixture.
0:52 - Add eggs to a bowl.
0:56 - Whisk the eggs.
1:06 - Pour in creamed corn.
1:12 - Add kernel corn.
1:18 - Mix well.
1:25 - Add sour cream.
1:32 - Add granulated sugar.
1:37 - Add ground nutmeg and vanilla extract.
1:42 - Mix well.
1:50 - Pour in melted butter.
2:01 - Add cornbread mixture.
2:07 - Mix until well combined.
2:21 - Butter a bake dish.
2:32 - Pour the batter into the bake dish.
2:44 - Bake for 35-40 minutes.
3:05 - Dish out and serve alongside your favorite holiday meal!

I’ve been using your corn bread pudding recipe for about three years now. It is great we all love it my grandson and son-in-law really love it I fixed it about two weeks ago, we’re cooking out again this weekend and they want it again. Before I retire there was a retirees party at work someone made it, I got a dish and I tried it about an hour later when I went that it was all gone.I really didn’t think about again for a few years when I thought about it I found your recipe and believe me it is fantastic I just would like to say thank you and a few other of your recipes I’ve copied and try they all are great

Dear Rosie-Just wanted to stop by-it’s Thanksgiving today and because of you and your generous obedient nature we had to add another thing we’re Thankful for-first your friend was spot on in knowing that others would benefit if you shared your Corn Pudding Soufflé recipe. My 1st time making this recipe was today, Easter 2018 as a last minute side dish. It took about 10 minutes to make and about 50 minutes to bake. It came out moist, not too sweet, perfectly cooked and totally delicious. I found out that people who generally do not like very soft, slightly pudding/cake-like sides, would not like this one, but for those of us who do...MMmm-mmm, good!!!!

You can make two and put one in the fridge after it cools down for the ones that don't like the pudding cake like dessert and once you leave it in the fridge it will stiffen up like a cake but still be moist and delicious all the same. That is how I like to eat mine after it has cooled down and been refrigerated because I like mine more cakey

Hum, sugar, nutmeg and vanilla sounds delish. I usually add cheese, green onion and some red pepper. It tastes amazing and looks better with a little color. 😋

I just made this. It just came out of the oven 15mins about. It’s 12:30a and I am trying to keep my family from eating it. It’s for thanksgiving dinner. Oh LAWD.... I hadn’t made this in 15 years. I made it back then for an Easter dinner and had the recipe from a magazine. I thought about and came to the internet to find a recipe because I had only made it once. I came across this recipe. I only used 1 creamed corn with 1 sweet kernel corn. Then I blended them together because I don’t like the texture of the corn amongst the creaminess of the pudding. Then I only used 2 eggs with an extra package of jiffy honey. It was a bit more cake like!
