Ol Bill Hoskinson said in one of his early videos "idk why people are so interested in us, we're just normal every day people". And idk if he realizes it but that couldn't be farther from the truth. Normal people don't do all the cool sh!t these guys do. And normal people definitely don't race cars. Normal people get off work at 6pm, go home, watch television, eat dinner and go to bed every day. The Hoskinson's are super extraordinary and interesting beyond anything normal in this world.

It's been different from the majority of the U.S. for at least 45 years, but over the last 10 years it has changed tremendously. The cylinder head dowels should be "full length". What I mean by that is: when pressed into the cylinder head and bottomed out, there should be 0.125 to 0.250 sticking out that would be in the block when head installed. If you remove the head and the dowels are sucked up into the head flush, that's either your problem or a problem along with a warped head.

I think all these street takeovers in the middle of towns with attending bystanders getting hurt from cars and violence has people getting upset. Unfortunately they group street racing right in the mix and it empowers the police to go after you even if it's out in the sticks. Stay safe and ticket free boys 💪

A year or so ago, I saw National Trail in a non-related subject video. I was sickened by the condition of the place. In the 70s, National Trail was the location of the Annual NHRA Springnationals, and was my favorite track for my National Event circuit. After my amazement subsided, I contacted a friend working for NHRA to get the story. To be fair, it is the fault of NHRA at least as much as the track. I sat in those stands behind you and watched Shirley Muldowney defeat Don Garlits for the final of Top Fuel. As well as ran some good times in my Comp Class (C/ED). At least, you are enjoying the track while so many other tracks have been turned into shopping centers and housing developments.

Blowers do not lag and last a lot longer than a Turbo. I miss my 1989 Dech Mustang LX. Trunk not Hatch Back. Ricaro seats and skirts. 245/50 Z rated tires but the best? My by my own hands 351. I had to cut a hole to make room for the blower. Sadest yet the smile I had after the first monster punch and drive thru the McDonald's drive thru? The size 1 Blonde was wearing a blanket (Naked) in the shotgun seat! The girl at the cash window said (I like your Car!). That was good times! All I know is I kept the rubber down till her place.
