@@OoogaBoog When a "un-badged" Typhoon or Cyclone rolled up to the strip, it was over.There was a kid that lived a couple towns away that would show up to the Airport Road races with a couple hundred dollars he made flipping burgers part time after school during the week, and he would leave the strip around 3am with a few thousand dollars. We became good friends. Then Fast and Furious came out, and every dumbass spending mommy and daddy's money ended up ruining it for the rest of us, driving like assholes, hitting pedestrians, stealing shit, totally killing the culture. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Yup...I had 3 of them...I stretched the bed on 1 of them and had the engine and transmission in the bed... The engine compartment was a keg cooler... Those were the good ol'days...!!!!

I am old as dirt but I still get that goofy ass grin on my face everytime I go fast just like Kenny and Billy. LOL! I had many good times scaring the hell out of my mom going fast. She always acted terrified but she would always go for a ride again. Watching the videos bring back great memories for me and thanks for that. Blessings to the family.

It's unfortunate for many that so many fail to realize that toxic insidiously narcissistic parents do exist out there and there exists that type of parent that will not be missed upon their passing. And this is not because of me being a rotten son but aware that there are some very wicked people that abused their children all the way up to and including their adulthood and had to go No Contact to end the abuse.

Made me smile. I only had the opportunity to get my mom to ride in my truck one time. She acted just like yours. She passed away of cancer a couple years ago and that is one of the memories I look back on often. I only wish I had a video of our ride. Consider your self lucky man.

That was so funny! I had to explain to my wife why I was laughing so much but it did remind me of the time in my home built 1967 Firebird when my mother got to experience flight from 20 to 120MPH. Next month marks four years since my mothers passing in a hospital that failed her and my family. Your video brought back the good memory of her reaction and what she had to say about the car that her two son's had built and it was surprisingly positive.

I miss my mother every day. My parents use to drag at Tri City Dragstrip in Freeland, MI many years ago. It's now where the airport is at. The track was still there until a few years back. My mother had no scare bone in her body. She always had a faster reaction time than my dad. And for some weird reason it always seemed like the vehicles ran better with her in the seat. I wish she was here to see my achievements in life and the badass Jeep I have built for playing in the mud. I'd put up a picture of it but it's not allowed on here. Keep your family close! You never know when life will make a change. Tell them you love them daily.
