SOUTHERN INTERLUDE 

Having published a pleasant little cameo of a Great Western Interlude, • GREAT WESTERN INTERLUDE I noticed that 75069, recently returned to service after its collision with a tree, would be crossing 34027 Taw Valley at Hampton Loade. On a lovely sunny Friday 13th September I recorded the event. It doesn't take much imagination to visualize the scene in a Somerset & Dorset setting with a southbound double chimney 75XXX crossing a Rebuilt West Country on a Bournemouth to Sheffield train comprised of LNER teak stock.
