Dude! I used to live here and would watch the 4449 and the 700 go by in the holidays, even got to ride on them both

No. ORHF Does not own the track outside of their fences. It is not up to them whether or not the daylight can run. Amtrak does not allow steam charters anymore, and the only contract they've got to run is on this small section of track for Holiday Express. we can hope in the future things will change, But currently it will not happen.

2019, the holiday express is in December and now we have October. I don't know if they'll do that this year
