Basically mimicked your recipe awhile back, and thought it turned out pretty darn good. Used turkey legs/wings. After it sits a day, and the flavors set in, man its some good eating. Threw in some minced garlic, radish greens, bacon, and a lil Tony's creole seasoning.
You opened the bag and poured the beans over the 'frozen veggies" Just stop. You are destroying your own channel. Take this video down and redo it! We got to do better. All of these people are not saying this because we are hallucinating!
Okay. Well now I have gone through the other comments I see this topic of not washing and sorting the peas and the replies have been deleted and/or no response from the creator of this video so hhhmmm 🤔 🤷 bye bye
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 just delete everyone who called you out on not washing and sorting those peas. Deleting comments is making you look so not trustworthy and I'd never eat anything you cook if you open the bag and empty it directly in the pot and come back and say you wash them and sort b4 you video 😮 our ancestors are watching you
@@TheUrbanCultureKitchen in your video, this video to be exact, you poured the black eyed peas straight from the bag into the crock pot. You didn’t even wash them. When did you soak them?
hello Felicia welcome to my kitchen, to answer to your yes i clean my beans to make sure no rocks. pebbles or dirt. Also i soak them in chicken broth..
@@cynthiagibson6104 Yup! I saw what you saw. Scary, since I have found a pebble or two in packages of black eyed peas, not to mention dirt. Imagine biting down on a pebble. Not good!
This will be on my family’s table for Thanksgiving tomorrow! Great recipe! I only used 2 tbsp of the black pepper and that was plenty. Hands down, this made the best pot of black eyed peas I have EVER tasted in my 32 years as a southern woman.
Nice and easy. I would mash up one cup of peas and mix it to thicken the sauce and pull the bones. If you don't have cornbread, trust me store-bought oven garlic bread is great too.
Hello welcome I would love to see how yours turned out. If you like, you can post a photo of it on my fb group it you like. Thanks for stopping by my friend enjoy.
Looks awesome! I am not familiar with BEP. Was looking for recipe and yours seems to be a winner! One question...do you have to rinse the peas like other kind of dried beans/ peas? Or soak?
Hi Ashley no problem I sure will thanks for asking I will be posting videos very soon. I hope you enjoyed the Recipes. Slow cooker recipe coming soon. Thank for watching.
