I use the same ingredients except I also add Borders Sweet Condense Milk. 375 degrees is too high. It will make the crust very dark. I use pie crust. Graham crust is for my cold pies like cheese cake, etc. Some may like Graham crust but bring the degree down to 3:50. The potatoe pie may not taste burnt because it is basically done but cooked enough so the egg in it is cooked enough and kind of solid. It's heated long enough where there will be no salmonella. For all viewers don't for to cover edges of pie with foil so the edges won't be darker than pie. When the middle is firm take off the foil until edges look light brown. Now it's ready.

Just made this recipe, It is so delicious! I used coconut milk, and only the cinnamon, I was out of nutmeg and ginger, and evaporated milk👍💗

Thank You so much for creating this video & sharing your recipe ! I followed the recipe to the T (minus nutmeg-sold our) and my pie came out perfectly ! Perfect consistency, texture, color, FLAVOR. It stood as my FIRST pie the best amongst seasoned pie vets. Ha! I’m officially the pie girl .

I didn’t. Depending on the crust, I only use foil if I see the crust getting too dark. With my homemade crust, I don’t need it. With graham cracker, I still don’t need it.

I use unsalted butter for all my baking. I add a 1/4 tsp of salt to the recipe though.

Hi! It's been a while since I subscribed to a RU-vid Video. WELP! about half an hour ago I "Googled" making BBQ ribs in an air fryer. Your website popped up! Right now the ribs recipe you presented on your website I am now following - Lol! I don't cook really (just warm up food that I order in). I MUST say that you are making these ribs Fun to cook! No FUSS . . . I Love This. I will find out shortly how good these ribs taste. OH! there goes the beeps on my air fryer . . . Time to flip over the baby ribs! Gil I did her air fryer ribs and I will never make ribs any other way again. They're outstanding!! Just have to adjust time based on weight of the ribs I found.

From what I learned, it’s all about the season the sweet potatoes came about. I’ve been lucky to never have stringy ones.

I’m trying to make it with can yams like my mom used to make but even after I do all the steps it comes out milky rather than smooth🥺 what am I doing wrong? Should I wait until they’re cooled down after cooking them????

Thanks for the feedback but I haven’t had a stringy sweet potato pie in years. Running the sweet potatoes through a food processor won’t necessarily get rid of all the strings either, I’ve had stringy sweet potatoes that have been run through food processors. Those things are stubborn. The strings are generally because of the sweet potatoes. Something to do with the season and when they are produced. Some have a lot, some not so much. I’ve been lucky to pick ones that are not stringy or have very little.
