I will forever be a sonic boomer..and i mean to the heart.. But this here if i had to pick best band arrangement, execution etc this will be top 5 of all time
Been playing music for over 20 years now, and this is by far one of the best arrangements I've ever heard...every thing was on point. If this song didn't touch an emotion for you, then either you're not a musician or something is wrong with you !
As a Southern U Alumni("86") I recall hearing the SU Band practice everyday, because the Architect studio was across from the stadium. There are times when I miss hearing the band play, but, the sound of Southern U Band will be and always will be deep in my heart. A great legacy.
Nathan, Thank you for putting this wonderful video together. My first time seeing. Also, thanks for featuring me in it as being a part of the SU Band as a featured vocalist and a part of the band life was some of the happiest moments of my life. What a Rich Beautiful and Rich Experience. Luv U! RIP Doc
Rest In Peace Doc. We love you and thank you for your dedication to excellence. See you on the other side and if you need a trumpet player, i'll be ready!
Awesome Marching Band! Heard about them; First saw them in Houston,1980 blowing TXSU completely out;saw them in Montgomery, 1974 completely blowing Skegee out; saw them in Mobile, 1985 crushing BAMA ST. Seen them many times since. Pound per pound...simply the best.
EXACTLY Why I Wanna Join The SU HUMAN JUKEBOX! More Than About The Music They Play, but The Meaning Of What A Human Jukebox Is, Where it Comes From! The Song Went Right Along with the Slide show!
I love to read Swac Bands bio's.One of those SU BD's like to get the band hyped up,lol!I came to BR for a SU/JSU game back in 1992 and I had fun.I am a JSU fan,but the state next door Swac band making me a fan of theirs.Good Lord,I thought I would never come to say that, but u gotta respect what SU doin over there!!!
Beautiful ... can some one share the knowledge on who the head band director & young lady was in the still photos - pre Issac Greggs? Those old school SU bands of the 60's, 70's, 80's etc set the tone for what The Human JukeBox is today.
