This is the best parade band. This is how band should sound on the street. Sounds like a car with a system in it. This how we measure your bands. You gotta love parade season

He's definitely an icon who created the best marching band in the land. Dr. Issac Greegs put The Human Jukebox on the map. I know he's smiling down on these fine hard working students and Kedrick Taylor. Mr. Taylor was one of his students. As if Southern University wasn't already on the map. Whenever someone or anyone for that matter sees this band, they're going to remember seeing them in the 2020 Tournament of Roses Parade. 👍👍👍One awesome band.

Happy that SU Juke made the 2020 RB......only HBCU this year. Last year 2019 Alabama State and Florida A&M made it. SU Band is HUGE

Southern had a rich, full sound in this parade. They were the best band in the parade. The Rose Bowl committee picked the right HBCU marching band.

Dang Southern, ya'll didn't look like a "band" of people marching down the street at all! YA'LL LOOKED LIKE A FINELY TUNED MACHINE THAT WAS KICKING BUTTS AND TAKING NAMES! WOW! You guys looked awesome swaying from side to side with the plumes rocking and that jukebox sound knockin! You guys made our great state of Louisiana proud! Absolutely First Class in every way. They worked in unison. Uniforms were nice. The Dolls looked beautiful. The band sound PHENOMENAL & they represented their school as well as HBCU with dignity & class. The entire weekend including the powerful church performance, the band fest & now this parade was just Magnificent! Thank you HumanJukebox & the Fabulous & Classy Dancing Dolls!! What a way to bring in the New Year. I said it before but all was done in the spirit of Excellence!!❤

The band sounds AMAZING. love the way the drum majors, dancers and band weren't spread out. Everybody's in step and their sound is STRONG!!!! And the brass....just wow.

Yes go!!! YOLO... Look at it this way, you pay the fees now so the next generations don't have to!!! My dad went in the 60's, I followed in the 90's and received an education for mere shillings!!! I'm grateful... for the decision my dad made. He came from Florida at the time... i'm from the Bronx (NY).. my 10 year old son will be there come 2027! BET THAT... SU4LIFE AND BEYOND... 7 GENERATION GOAL. ROCK WIT US...

SU Human Jukebox ... damn you represent us well. From coast to coast. My wife, daughter and son sat in the chilly Pasadena weather but as soon as I saw this band march down Orange Grove Blvd .... it was all worth it. Best 4 years of my life on the bluff. Jukebox forever! Happy New Year to all. This was special.

As an Alcorn graduate, I am SOOOOOOOOO proud of all of you. The class, style, and grace was just OUTSTANDING. I love all HBCU. I just wish out younger generation could understand what it means to attend and graduate from an HBCU. In Mississippi terminology--y'all surpassed excellence!!!!!!!

You should attend the Mardi Gras parades in New Orleans then. Especially the Zulu parade that SU always attend. Last i heard that parade was about 15 miles

I've watched all the broadcasts I could find of Southern in this parade, really they're the only reason why I watched it in the first place. I just noticed the Trombone/Trumpet configuration. Is that new? Seems to spread the power through out the band. Genius! 💙💛💯⚜️

The entire parade is scripted, no impromptu exhibitions. Do all that "buckin" like Grambling and you'll never be asked back. Style, class, and superior sound is enough.

Im watching this today because the Rose Parade was lacking, badly lacking "THAT SOUND" that SU MArching Band has perfected. The performance that was aired on KTLA in 2020 was second to none.
