This song actually made me imagine myself in the band just for the chance to hear the crowds reaction from the stands. This shit will still blow hard way after Glendon leaves. Power in every section. B-tones bringing it, F-horns bringing it, I think I even heard a fucking piccolo! Trumpets are super strong as a whole. T-bone holding it down and you hear them clearly. BBC, best battle this year hands down!

I agree with you about everything. They still will be smashing but that extra push and edge that he brings will be truly missed. He just stands out and brings the most out of that section. He pushes them as you can see.. But those mello's are on another level. Most slept on section in the band if you ask me. The T and B tones are doing what they always do and the Sousa's are special. The arrangements are always the best. BBC will be a great battle. Just wish Glen would get a chance to crease that @$$ at the BOB...

mikedaflexta agreed! When I went to SU, the cheerleaders cheered to the fans not the band. Now they seem to be an auxillary of the band. Umph!

mikedaflexta not a problem at all. Cheerleaders are usually by the band during pregame. When the game starts they move to the middle. Let's not forget SU band is set in the middle at home games do you'll see the cheerleaders.

Last season I went to 2 home games, They are supposed to move the crowd before the game starts as well, you know, rile up the crowd for an electric kickoff. SU has good cheerleaders but I'll be damned if they didn't migrate our way until halfway thru the 1st quarter. we shall see this season. I am attending 4 home games this year and I'll be sure to update you on whether my previous comments had legs or if I was just overreacting, which I can see you believe I am.
