I'm Grambling alumni. Marched in the world famed 1987, but I have to give the jukebox there props. They have been the better band for about 7 years now. No hating here. It is what it is. I love the sound of the jukebox

It’s easy, you never put 2 freshmen next to each other. You tell them to look left, look right, if you don’t look like the person standing next to you then you are wrong. Fix it. They pick up fast when they can follow someone else’s lead.

Welp ....there u have it! This is why people call them the best. Consistency in energy year after year. Very entertaining show...top to bottom. Band sounds awesome. He is a joke. He did jack shit for the majority of the show. He is definitely a skilled dancer and showman, but he's no leader. The drum line was leading most of the show and a member of staff did the Drum Major's job at two different points in the show.

As an former Spartan Legion, Southern , in my personal opinion won the battle, I know there are going to be people biased for their schools and the usual hate for this program, for some unknown reason our people will hate on excellence smh..Alcorn sounds good, Alabama sounds good, the SWAC is going to be showing off this year! Great Job Jukebox I see yall are on a mission this year

@@1971phenom Loved those battles between 2000 - 2004, the MEAC was fire back then, the programs were huge, the competition was lit! Im not feelings the unwillingness of the band programs to evolve in the Meac nowadays, Losing Bethune, NCAT, Famu were great loses and the programs are just going about business as usual, drills are basic, arrangements are high-school written (if that) and they cant compete with these Swac schools, so they get defensive and say these schools are over blowing when in fact the SWAC is just better.

This program has become the standard for HBCUs. I’ve been pulling for JSU the last couple of years but the the cleanliness of this performance can’t be ignored. Great job Jukebox. Very excited for the BoomBox classic. It will be one for the record books this year!

I know they have other bands in Louisiana other HBCU schools but it is something about southern I'm so proud when I see them marching in hearing them at parades not to take anything away from grambling and some of the other smaller HBCU schools but Southern brings a certain amount of pride to me by the way I'm from New Orleans
