The NCAA committee asked if we could play these songs and do this show. The Final Four was in New Orleans so they wanted a “secondline” feel of a show. Thanks for the SUpport! Our students worked hard to put together both performances over the weekend.
Next time rightfully decline This didn’t do anything to showcase how great y’all actually are Y’all are show stoppers and they made y’all look mediocre Good job to the students they have and always will show up and show out I just feel like if y’all did y’all own thing it would’ve been way better
I agree it didn’t show the real human jukebox. We were invited bc of how amazing we are and this made us look mediocre. It’s rare to get an actual band at halftime at a basketball game.
It's not surprising the human jukebox is the baddest band in the land. This happens when you have fans around the world!!! The jukebox is pure entertainment!!! SU!!
Thanks so much. I love watching you all perform. Outstanding as always. Love ❤️ from upstate 😊NY. I’ve been following you since your school started this.
Solid performance. You guys sounded great, looked great, and provided what the committee requested. I appreciate the discipline and professionalism as always. 💛💙
Too bad that the halftime was not shown on the broadcast. At least the 70,000+ people in the Dome got a chance to witness representatives, not the full version of “The Best Band in the Land”! Now they know what we’ve known for years! THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
Not gonna lie the hbcu all star game was last minute in my opinion.. I didn’t know until they said southern was performing in it, plus it was the first time they ever did it. Not trying to make excuses, but they should have executed it better.
@@fierce5304 just for the record, I attended neither game .. it's not like I chose the NCAA march madness championship game over the HBCU all star game
They sounded really good! the crowd could’ve been more receptive!!! But they don’t know about how we do down here up in Kansas of all places and North Carolina!! 😎
Sorry but as we used to say from the old school Jukebox, "That show was designed with NO HOUSE IN MIND." Time wasted marching in to position. Waaaaay too much time on "Let your mind be free" song standing still. Boring. Single guy out front buck-jumpin'??? Most folks in that crowd are from out of town watching their team so they can't relate to that. Too gimicky. You didn't showcase the Dancing Dolls!? They should ALWAYS be featured somehow being some of the best in the nation. To be honest, the show performed for the HBCU all stars game would have been much better here. (And before anyone replies that they only had a limited amount of time and could only do so much, I am aware of that. But I also know great shows can be designed for that time limit. We've done it before). Opportunity missed guys. - From a former 4yr. Juke leader (during the Doc era) and SU grad.
