Just watched again as it was the last video posted. Hope to see more again soon. Something about this island that draws me in, and if i'm not there, the nearest i can feel that draw is in Kittikoko's videos. The only other that matches for me is Marek Larwood's walks. A sense of quirkiness maybe, but certainly, bringing that flavour to the small screen : )
A beautiful drive kittikoko. At 3.50 on the right hand side , there appears to be a small castle. Back in 1988 my family and I rented two chalets here when it was known as Ravenscourt holidays. The views were spectacular. It was also the start of a very steep footpath leading up to the top St Boniface Down. Happy days.
I am enjoying all the bus rides, it gives me a chance to the island to which I left with family in 1957. I will try and visit as soon. I have settled in my new home. I might be able to look up cousins.
Hi kittikoko, been checking out your vids as my aunt and uncle lived on the island and we used to visit regularly in the 70s-90s. There house was at the bottom of the shute in Newchurch, are there any of your videos with the village in them I do remember it was the Sandown to Newport bus we'd jump on. Thanks Bryan.
