To anyone who has never stood between the Jukebox and another band. Real talk... Southern is much clearer and much louder than 99% of the bands they face,

lemme first say awesome footage by far the best ive seen in a while. secondly im a graduate of alabama a&m enjoyed the bands from all over but i like SU simply because of their rich sound and perfection
the sky went gold once the Divas got it, looking good!!! Fine! Good vid wish i could have been here, SU bringing it!! I Like hearing asu play that Future, bones! Good battle both! Funny DIrectors at SU lol was good to run into them at Montgomery last night after eating.

Southern band got em but they did pretty good for such a small band this year. ASU still sounded good but SU was blastin on em tbh lol. Them stingettes ate them dolls tho.
true enough... but look at the level of difficulty executed by the stingettes versus the simplicity of the dolls. and even with a minor mistake, the stingettes still did an excellent show and definitely bucked down the stands.

Dandre Callies u jukies don't like the fact...JSU is the only HBSU band that has su running all the time....face it...SU IS NOT A GREAT AS YAW CLAIM ..NOT IN THE CLASSIC OR THE CHAMPIONSHIP...
If SU not as great as we claim, then why are we consistently chosen by NCAA as being the #1 marching band in the nation? Just google (NCAA rankings for collegiate marching bands 2013). JSU never make that list. SU outdrill all hbcu as well as white bands every year. Why were we invited to and performed at 6 superbowls? JSU still waiting on an invite but only the best are invited. Also why did Madonna request the Dancing Dolls to perform with her at the SB? Who else can drill the games halftime score? ONLY SOUTHERN !!!! JSU can copy our headthrows, drills( Thanks 2 Murray), and swag style but they will never reach Southerns level. #HumanJukebox4life#
jbu2009 lol im sorry you think that..... but su runs from no band ...like i said jsu is an amazing band and yes they are probably the only band to get su juiced up (and thats about the only thing they can do) but blowing su out????please you dont even believe that yourself
Kenedrick Browning, I was at the game and it was two camera crews out there both set up by the field goal posts. That is when ASU moved in front of SU after half-time. I'm a Juke, and no ASU didn't get blown out but SU was too much for em. ASU sounded damn good since I marched in the late 90s. The infamous Silver Bullets were blowing but they lost their seat at the top of the SWAC tubas. I come from a ASU/AA&M family alumni and normally talk shat to my family but ASU sounded good though
This nigga 100 yards away and u still can hear wild side loud and clear. Pretty much saying we can play loud ass simple songs to, it's nothing. They just have a book called "Loud and Simple Songs" Lmao

I remember last year state blast southern but I can honestly say southern got them back this go round... I can't wait to this year's game counting down
I gotta point something out. I dont go to state nor SU, I actually hate state with a passion but everybody saying SU blowing state out...PAY ATTENTION TO HOW CLOSE THE CAMERA MAN IS TO SU AND HOW FAR HE IS FROM STATE ! HE HAVE TO ZOOM IN ON STATE...just saying if you that close then hell yea rhe audio going to be surround sound volume.

It's just you. The Stingettes have been tops for years. 2009 was a banner year when Victoria Betts was captain. Squads from the SWAC and MEAC studied her moves on RU-vid and borrowed a little bit of her swag. Check out ASU Stingette videos from 2009.
I am a fan of su but i see a lot of first tpt. Caking in su.just because your are first tpt.doesnt mean lay out and wait for certain notes.or maybe it does in yall band.imo you not a real screamer if you lay out f or certain notes/phrases in the arrangement. If the arranger wrote it like that then I stand corrected.good sound.lime that you all songs are showcasing more technique in the highbrass.
JSU and they've work their ass off to be #2 lol. On the real they're pretty good every year they give SU a run for their money and some years beat them. They've been going up and down for years but they are the 2 best bands in the swac.
Southern University is located in a French state (Louisiana). Haven't you heard about the arrogance and aloofness of the French? After all, Bougie/Bourgeois is a French word.... LOL!!! :-) We Love Our Dolls!!!
