In my day we practically ran back(JSU also) if another band tried to crank on us after a show. Guess ASU BD wasn't ready to battle the Human Jukebox. SU definitely brought the heat. Even though i love my hornets but as of now su on a level no body in any hbcu marching band see. Haymer and company got the best arrangers then plus a strong tradition. I dont see them falling off. State lost the battle before they sat down.

Southern tore ahole in ASU bands ass forreal. ASU was no match against The Human Jukebox. They drilled the hell out of ASU field. I know they had to patch up a lot of holes after SU left that field. Trust me ASU band know Southern ate they ass up potnah.
When you are great at what you do, you take your time to let the under dogs perform their "best". I'm sorry bt SU dancers has NOTHING on the ASU Stingettes. It's always been that way, hate if you wanna lol.
Apparently you aren't familiar with NCAA rankings. Southern is ranked as having the #1 precision drilling band in the nation for 2013. Beating out all white and hbcu collegiate marching bands. Just google NCAA rankings. Southern has made it in the top 5 for years. We are just behind Ohio St. SU THE ONLY HBCU band to make the top 5. ASU didn't even make the cut...LOL. Those rankings are based on drilling techniques. I love ASU band because they're a hbcu band and also good. They just not on SU's level. Southern destroyed them in that beautiful new stadium. I do give them their props for trying to hang with the Human Jukebox. That's just impossible to do.
