Still Ableton, I'm so used to it and my workflow is way faster on it. Fl has good upsides tho, trap/hard drums lowkey sound better in fl but pop drums sound better on ableton imo@@TCGRS
Have you tried to use Reverse polarity On the 808s and kick? it make em hit harder. and the shift knob to make 808 hit a few milliseconds after the kick. 🔥
However making 808 hit after the kick will work better cuz there can be no phase conflicts if the only thing that’s playing is kick. But in this case I’d suggest to use attack knob in 808, so you won’t have double punch from kick and 808 after, this way you’ll take the punch out of 808 and create a room for the kick
