Neighbors in a southwest Houston apartment complex say they no longer feel safe because of problems with an erratic neighbor. Don't forget to subscribe to our channel. ABC13 is streaming live local news 24/7: abc13.com/watc...
I remember a neighbor in the street 2 blocks away was shooting his gun in the air and playing loud music at 3am and yell8ng at people. Then one n8ght he was jumped by 6 pepple, hospitalized and moved out a week after he gpt out of the hospital. Never bothered anyone again, in that neighborhood.
I'm sure the apartment complex can evict him because of what he's doing the other tenants should withhold their rent because of the hostile and dangerous environment
I had a similar thing happen with one of my neighbors. It took about five years to resolve, during which the neighborhood was in constant fear. HPD were called out multiple times over the years, all to no avail - sometimes they would pick him up, but he'd be back home in a few weeks and the craziness would start again. Finally, a SWAT standoff ensued which wound up with the neighbor shooting at the police in the street. I think he actually shot a police officer before they shot CS gas into his house, stormed his house, and arrested him (I was surprised they did not kill him). My neighbor was mentally ill, and I suspect the individual in this ABC13 story is mentally ill too. Based on my experience, this will not end quickly, and it will not end well.
Unfortunately, cops are from the public school system, and they weren't trained to think. It makes them the perfect minions of a party that begins with D.
I was born in S.E.Houston in 1955. It was a great safe place to grow up. It's really said to see what the political situation and residents have allowed Houston to become. Shame on all of you.
These townhomes are just a few blocks from where I went to middle school back in 1999, and let me tell you this area has been like this even before then. I’m definitely not surprised by this situation.
He got arrested two times already. What the heck else are you expecting them to do? If they got a HOA they need to sue him so they can get him the f out of that house.
These neighbors should check their state law to see if they have one called “right to peace and quiet enjoyment” it is a tenant or landowners right to be able to live on their own property in peace without disturbance from others. They need to document and call 911 for each disturbance and then petition their management company to evict the person as it is infringing on their rights to live in their homes.
I heard that USPS will not deliver mail to these townhomes because the mailman was attacked. You'd think that would be enough to evict him. I mean, if this guy had a dog that he let's loose is constantly a threat to the neighborhood, attacks the mailman, the owner would be evicted. He should be held to a higher standard than a dog.
Years ago my aunt that lives in Liberty had to deal with a lady that lived across the street that acted just like this when we would go over there for cookouts or any sort of get together we could not park on the side of the street because the lady would flip out like this guy does
The based on true events 1991 TV Movie starring Brian Dennehy called "In Broad Daylight" was about a town bully who the police could not deal with so the towns people got together and all decided to take him out. In the end the police had no witnesses as to who shot him in the head and nobody went to jail.
Police: Call us when a crime is being committed. Victim: Calls Police, reports crime in progress. Police: (3 days later) Sorry, we can't do anything unless we witness the crime.
All the neighbors need to band together and obtain a restraining order against him. It will give the cops and the courts a tool to use against this guy and put him in his place, otherwise you're on your own. Meanwhile don't say anything to him, - nothing, zero. Any interaction at all may provoke a crazy, unstable person.
It’s sad that “multiple reports” even have to be filled.. why can’t people be safe & comfortable in their own community ? Let alone their city 🤦🏾♀️ he needs to be evicted
Old people and and postal workers. This guy wouldn’t pull that shit on my block. All my neighbors carry were all war fighting age and the youngsters around here are respectful but don’t take shit either.
What I did not understand is why management can't evict. I've seen ppl get evicted for a lot less... Like just keeping a messy patio. If it's gone so far that he's been arrested due to his aggressive behavior, why can't he be evicted on the same point?
He will act that that way until he meets the wrong person and this will end quickly and violently. Then that other person will get arrested. Shame on the HPD. What’s going on? Is there a big doughnut sale somewhere across town?
Why not just evict him? Are they that scared of him? Call the police when he gets crazy and tell him to get the f out! No resident should be having to walk on eggshells in there own home cause of this raging looney!
I hope this situation clearly explains the utter uselessness of police in modern society. Essentially, you are on your own. Alot of these males are out of control and it is up to you to stand your ground because no one‘s coming to save you.
LOL as if its only men that act this! Are you willingly blind to reality? Men, women, children and even the elderly of all races are equally likely to engage in this sort of behavior and to try and claim otherwise is 100 percent BS.
Weird. most town home communities have an HOA and I would think an HOA would be able to come together to come to a resolution regarding this specific issue
That is someone who has never owned and thinks he is the king of the mountain having only secured a rental! No different behavior than any other thug trying to claim ownership of city street, blocks, et. Surely, you all have relatives?
Homeboy is goin to catch more than a charge he messes with that ole man he will send him to the morgue extra quick can see hes not scared but worried and wants some one any one to come help
