Brotha..... once a week we pick one of your Recipes and make a family meal!!! Every Thursday !!! And all the kids , my wife, and friends that come over have loved every one we have made... so thank you my man!! And this is what wer making tomorrow!!! Salute to you!!! All these are fire!! Much love and respect!!
I can totally see you having a TV show on the Food Network! So many people are missing out on your talent. In fact, Oprah should snag you for the OWN channel. 📺
@@SmokinandGrillinwithAB yes! Nothing needs to change about your authentic self. You got the sayings we love to hear and your food can’t change!!! You are the GOAT and more people need to see you!
Damn I grew up eating stuffed peppers. I love stuffed peppers but I gotta show this to my mom and tell her how wrong she been cooking them all these years. I'll be back with a black eye to tell you how it went 😆
AB, I can’t cook a lick. I’ve been faithfully watching your videos for about three weeks now and I’ve been cooking every other day from off of your channel. I’ve never felt like I could successfully cook anything and you’re really giving me that boost of confidence I need to cook for my kiddo and my boyfriend. Thank you so much for making videos like this where anyone can gain the confidence to cook. You’re a blessing. Let me also add that I’m a Louisiana born and raised girl and you don’t stray from my roots too much! My Texan is turning into a Cajun slowly, but surely.
Love this version AB! I'm still full from the strawberry stuffed french toast I made on Easter! But hey, I'm not gonna over talk it. This looks fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥!
I made this recipe and oh my, they was hitting! I used just the pepper jack with ground turkey and my hubby loved them! This recipe is going in my rotation!
Awesome recipe. Can’t wait to give them a try. Thank you. Tip: peppers with the 4 nubs on the bottom are female, they have a more intense flavor when making stuffed peppers. The 3 nub peppers are male. Still good but I use them to season food I’m making. Stuffed peppers I always go with the female variety.
Me personally I like the 3 nub better for cooking things that are long time. Plus they have less seeds. 4 nub would be better for this recipe tho to stand
This is a great tasting way to utilize food in your fridge and be creative without hurting the bank! AND IT'S HEALTHY! I love stuffed bell peppers, thank you!!!!!! Your cooking rice with the meat and steaming it in chicken broth was a GAME CHANGER FOR ME! Never would have thought to cook the rice WITH the meat? I always cook it separate!
I live in the Northern of USA and I absolutely love the Southern food. You guys in the South have many different food that I never eat before. Thank you for sharing your video.
I saw this 2 yrs ago & made it for my fam while visiting them. I had saved it in my recipes & now I'm back to make it for my man❤ That's how memorable it was...can't wait to make again!TY! Much love ❤️
Southwest is a very good twist to the traditional green peppers 🫑 I also like using different color peppers. Thank you as always for putting a new spin on traditional. 😋
Aside from the rice, your filling is basically my go-to chili recipe, so I KNOW those flavors work! Never thought to stuff them into bell peppers, though, but I can't wait to try this! Thanks, AB.
Been thinking about cooking diner for the fam and letting wifey take the night off. This looks like the perfect dish to cook for them. Good lookin out bro
I made these tonight, they were delicious. I used fresh mozzarella and omitted the black beans but added some extra corn.... This recipe is a definite twist on the old, bland stuffed peppers of yesterday.... AB----this recipe is staying with us for years to come. Keep bringing the fire
We LOVE stuffed peppers in my household! However THIS is a much more elevated version than the one I was taught to make! I can't wait to try it out! My husband will thank you lol. And I especially appreciate the simplicity of how you done this so that even at home amateur cooks can make it. And that you used ingredients I am familiar with! Great recipe and presentation! I subscribed!
Finally got a chance to make it and it’s very good! My only change would be to let the peppers bake until they’re about done or parboil them because mine were slightly undercooked for my taste
Man AB u got one of the one of the smoothest channels out.. love blazing up some of them good greens and watching ur videos especially with everything going on in the world
Omg this is the best stuff pepper I have ever had. I used jalapeno peppers instead of chili peppers and I used half pork and half beef. Also I used shredded four cheese Italian . Thank you for the excellent recipes..
My kids are in town and I cooked these. All time banger! Used ground turkey and a drained can of corn rather than frozen. I cooked the rice separately and folded it in at the end. Also covered the tops with sliced mozerella cheese over grated pepper jack. Next time I'll finish them off in the smoker. Thanks AB. Fantastic!
I’ve been making this recipe since it dropped, delicious. @Ab today I leveled it up by softening the peppers on the Zgrills and finishing it off there as well. A kiss of smoke and well 🔥🔥
I’ve been watching your videos for the last couple months. I physically like your videos but never comment. But I have to give you your credit. I Have Cook a few of your recipes and they were all good. Your videos are very detail oriented and your presentation of your meals or everything. You even display websites of where to get certain items... I enjoy watching your videos. Please keep them coming. Your Channel is all that and then some !!!!
I've made these twice and they are always good. A lot of ingredients but very easy and quick to assemble. I substitute ground beef with ground chicken.
Man I would definitely be friends with you. Each recipe makes me think love was definitely put into each one. What I like is when people take their time and you see that in the food and presentation.
Just like many other fruits and vegetables, the degree of sweetness in Bell peppers is generally a factor of how ripe the fruit or vegetable is. Bell peppers start out green, then ripen to yellow, then orange, then red, and in some cases turn purple. Thus red, orange, yellow, and purple bell peppers are generally sweeter than green bell peppers.
They take different cooking times, too. Good thing to bear in mind when you are baking them. The red ones cook the quickest. I learned this the hard way!
@@carbar3936 - Odd. I never notice any difference in the taste of them. The only thing I noticed is the red ones cook a lot quicker. So if I have multicolored ones baking, I will end up with one or two of them overcooked to mush! All the colors look nice in a salad though.
@@grandmajane2593 Use to love red peppers' taste, but 3-4 yrs. ago = nope & IDK why either. Orange & yellow vey similiar taste, but still a little different & green differs from taste between orange & yellow big time to me. What about baking red ones in separate bakeware like 5-10 mins AFTER the other colors go in first? Maybe if you do this you can time the "time difference" to know for sure when to put the red peppers in thereafter to avoid the mushiness ??? Do you pre-bake or pre-boil your peppers. I've always pre-boil after water real hot 5-8 mins, cool, then stuff & bake. Never seen pre-bake til AB, but doing it his way today!. If you pre-bake, maybe don't prebake the red ones or do so with less time same thing if you pre-boil? Hope this helps!
I thought I was the only that just smiles when I press garlic. One of my favorite kitchen tools. I've been cooking for over 45 years and every time I watch AB, I learn a new trick! Cutting the ends of the peppers. I've never done that nor used ground beef. Can't wait to make this.
I just found this recipe because I’ve binged watch your videos this morning 😆 then I went to Trader Joe’s to get the ingredients and spent $137 …them was some expensive stuffed peppers but they were delicious! Thank you
New to this channel but love the recipes that are fairly simple and the explanations about ingredients that are to the point. I'll definitely be checking in more.
Look here my guy ( I ain’t gon over talk it), my wife and I so dig yo channel that we have adopted “AB DINNER DAY” at our house now. She fixed up deez peppers for dinner last night...FIRE 🌋🌋🌋🌋👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥
Im trying this tonight. I also like the way you explain the process for us who might not be too good at it esp cook times. Alot of ppl leave that out. Or you have to go search again thru video. Awesome. Southwest is one of my favorites
Hi there I made this on Friday night and my friends loved it and so did i plus I wanna thank you very much for this amazing recipe this was absolutely fire 👍😃
Smoke grill is the best I really do thank you for showing me different ways to cook .I used to throw away my black beans didn't no what to do with them but now I no have a blessed day and thank you once again
Every time I make stuff peppers, I find a new recipe. But not anymore! These peppers were simply the best, and this will be our new recipe moving forward.
I absolutely love stuffed peppers. Haven't had one in many years. Those look so delicious, well everything you cook looks delicious. Your family is blessed to have someone that love to cook and can. Stay blessed and safe 😊 😊.
Man oh man, followed this to a T,.. made 22 for a birthday party can I just say they were gone in 20 mins! The word I received was phenomenal. lol of course I couldn't take the credit. 😉
I slice my peppers in half the long way not the tall way. I don’t precook them either. Need some texture. Always add onions & garlic first with my base - sofritos or epise. Nice mixture for stuffing. Cilantro gives that lemony fresh taste. Good idea cooking rice with it. I add it to the pan so the peppers absorb the flavor and becomes tender. Looks good.
Question: since you used ground beef, why not use beef stock? OMG! I thought the stuffing was going to fall out the bottom! LOL. You know what you're doing! Looks delicious! Thanks for the recipe!
Thank you I made your receipt for stuffed peppers. I've made them several different ways. But this was the bomb. My husband. Has a cancer, ( called) Mutiple Mylomia, and he just found out he has a golf size lump in his throat that's affecting his swollening. There is very few foods that has taste for him. He struggled, but finished your stuffed peppers. And I love them too. Thanks keep up the great receipts.
@@TT1012U I'll come through with the wine n sweet tea after I get off...... can't show up at the cookout empty handed. Or like them folks that don't bring nun but bags of ice & Solo cups 😂😂
Master chef AB, you hit the spot on my favorite meals. However, I have to go too Costco to pick my Bell Peppers meal. But can't wait to fix my own by scratch after looking at your presentation!😍😍😍😍😋
My man! When you cut a stuffed pepper in half and everything stays together, that's how you know you got it right! Thank you as always and best wishes, Derek.
Thanks for walking us through each step of the way, came out amazing and I think the folks out there won't be disappointed if they give it a shot! Keep creating my friend and thanks for sharing.
I was looking for a new recipe for bell peppers. Wow, this looks fantastic. I have to cook for about 25 people in two weeks when camping. I am going to make and freeze about 25 of these then reheat them. I will also make extra for burritos. thanks!
i learned soooo much, How to cut peppers so they dont fall, and charring the beef before breaking it up. Charred tomatoes! Never thought of that before. im gonna make this , thanks Chef!
