I think it is a waste to put most of these ships for recycling, I understand that some are with maintenance for medium high navigation, but unfortunately today in several countries like Brazil have housing and security problems. And stranding a ship like this to serve as a home or even a hotel in my opinion would give use for another 30 to 50 years. Make trenches with width and length of the ship and then into the land and you will have an excellent residential vessel or a hotel.
