My dad was a soldier who participated in the soviet army and got sent to the Afghan war. After Soviet unions collapse he was ranked seargent and sent back to Latvia. He participated in many shooting contests and was called by his mates as a very good shooter with the Ak-74.

Basically, this unfortunate Soviet soldier get shot down in some version of the mig heli and he is surrounded and alone. All of his dead friends around him, one mag left in his AKM, both legs badly damaged in the crash, he hears the mujahideen soldiers approaching. As the soldier hits the Soviet over the hear with his rifle he pulls the pin on his grenade killing them both and anybody left in the room. When thinking about the afghan war and the Soviet intervention, i can't help but to think how things would've been different for my country Algeria if Soviets won against the islamofacists, many of these guys who fought in Afghanistan came later to my country and tried to force Sharia upon us, They killed our women for wanting to study, they killed our men for listening to music and for wearing western clothes, i wish our government allowed the Russians or the Americans to intervene, maybe the war wouldn't have lasted for 10 years, but no instead they gave those terrorists amnesty and paid them for it , now they are spreading their ideology freely, all countries should make an alliance to free the Afghan people from the tyranny, their women deserve their right to study and to work just like all women all over the globe
