Soviet Ballet "Spartacus" at the Mikhailovsky Theatre (Postcard 34 from St Petersburg) 

Having visited the Mariinsky and the Alexandrinsky theatres, I was keen to visit the last of St Petersburg's "Big Three", the Mikhailovsky. I used the visit as an opportunity to see my first Soviet Ballet, the incredible powerful "Spartacus" by Aram Khachaturian.
