I have grinded German & US submarines T6 , I manage to get 320k on both in one day , that crap is so OP , just go to cap , and wait for dd 100% guarantee og shootguning without any means to defent for enemy , and yes subs are fun to play ... but that will kill BB & cruisers , I have placed my veteran accout for sale , if i manage to sell it , I will play as sub main player ...🏧⛔

To be fair modeling sub is a lot faster than anything else, idk about other aspects of creating ship for wows such as gimmicks, parameters etc. but models definitely take only a fraction of time to make and I would guess modelling takes major part of ship creation. No more subs tho.. pls..

This happening to the Yamato is one thing due to its citadel shape, Kremlin does not have this problem and is ARMORED thoughout its hull.

Nah, they've just added to the common tasks of a dd, essentially "spot the enemy", "hunt other dds", "take all caps", "defend the caps" and "dodge the planes", a new one, "get deleted by subs".
Feels like when they were reading the wiki on subs they were smoking so much glue they confused knots with km/h, cause 37km/h is pretty accurate for ww2 diesel electrics.

@@stavrosstamelos6890 trying to use irl numbers is completely pointless in an arcade game. While we're at it, Georgia also goes 8 knots faster than she should and I have yet to see somebody complaining about it.

It has been pretty funny that it seems like the usage of subs has decreased even from when they were just in development a month ago, if it were not for the matchmaker trying to throw them into coop, there would have been a pretty small number of games I think I would have seen with them.

but flamu, the "silent majority" of players have very vocally and unanimously spoken to only wargaming in a method that can't be disclosed that submarines are completely balanced and have no issues whatsoever. Also remember in the last devblog about plans to reduce speed of subs WG was happy with speed of subs, but they have been carefully monitoring the balance and have decided to give the players what they want by reducing speed by negative 20 knots of the soviets
I’ve been playing this game for years now and can honestly say I’ve had a blast. Met some great people, had some great games, was over all pretty successful with some decent stats in game. The absolute saddest thing though is that I haven’t played this game in a couple weeks and I feel so much better, refreshed even. A pity they keep going down this BS road
Aye, they seem hell bent on ruining what was a great game. These Russian subs are faster, have tighter turning radiuses, lower detects and shorter torp cool downs then DD's. Like seriously WG, f'off with this non sense.
I like how their T6 is German since it's based on the U-69 series, their T8 is based on british subs, their T10 seems to be all theirs but apparently the most noticeable "combat" of any of their subs was damaging/sinking shipping with mines. Low Alpha doesn't matter if you can reliably place DoT. Sure they are easy to spot but they are stupid fast, which means they'll home better otherwise they'd always miss even with homing. They'll still obliterate DDs. Submerged should be just a percentage reduction probably between 25-30% so it'll still probably go 30ish knots under water. Don't forget closing speed, so while the torp may be going 76kts you're charging in at between 36-46 kts so the relative closing speed of those torps will be 112-122 kts, good luck dodging that unless you're in one of the space or apocalypse DDs.

For perspective, with 100% maxed captain torpedo build and upgrades, the kamikaze/fujin torps (which are already busted even without speccing hard for them) reach a speed of 75 knots. And the T6 soviet sub is getting that base... LOL.
I was gonna say, U-69 also has +70kt Torps at T6 (73 kts iirc) So the 75 on the soviet is about the total average of T6 Sub Torps with less dmg and range ^^
The K class RN submarines where stream driven, so it took them like twenty minutes or more to dive. They had to firstly fold and seal the exhaust stack and allow boiler to be extinguished and cooled. Only then could they dive, sure it kept up with surface ships while running on steam but.... One blew up and the others were decommissioned as a complete and abject failure.
You know what's next, right? Premium ships without ASW will get secretly-adjusted MM to avoid subs in order to sell more of those ships that nobody wants.
This has finally cemented the rightness of my decision to make myself and all the people I know to uninstall Wows. Fucking 45.8 knotes. In Condé you not only need a speed flag and the speed boost active. You actually need to have Auboyneau's "Surge Forward" talent active to be able to catch it. I don't know what they are smoking in that office, but I am seriously considering going over there and asking them if I can have some.
I was fine with the thought of subs entering the game. Thought they would be hard to detect and should be the slowest ships in the game. And now I'm seeing BBs with depth charges and subs able to catch up with cruisers. Total BS. All they made were DDs that can go under water and not have a main battery. Subs should be all about finding choke points and sitting and waiting for a feast. Not at flank speed chasing down escort ships. Any sub that can do more than 25 knots on the surface or 15 knots under water during WW2 is fantasy. I believe subs were 20/10 max.
You should read the Clive Cussler historical recount of submarines. The USSR sub which caught fire while dived during testing and they realised they had no fire extinguishers on board. The crew were forced to smother the flames on a DC switchboard using their bare hands!
One of the fastest subs in the history of the world was the Alpha SSN, with 43 knts. To achieve 40 knts+, they had a specially designed nuclear reactor and steam turbine, a highly reduced crew with most systems automated to save space and weight, a completely titanium hull to also save weight. An entire bottom-up design for speed. You're telling me that a glorified U-boat can close to match that with WW2 technology?

23:44 kremlin actually have a weakspot at bells kinda like the yamato but kremlin's weakspot is smaller and its between the foredeck and forebelt armor just above the icebreaker there is little bit of an overmatchable bell armor looking directly to the citadel section that you can punch through easily with 18" guns and cit a kremlin from front so gettin citadeled from the bells in a kremlin isn't a surprise for me but that broadsiding kremlin had no rights to live that encounter either ,that was unfortunate

Where are the battleship subs? I want 6 380mm guns and be able to fire them underwater and remain undetected. I love that these subs from ww1 & 2 are as fast or faster than top of the line subs now.

German steam torpedo was maxed at 44 knots. Also the slow setting had an average range of 5km. Soviet torpedoes are powered by Stalin’s love of the motherland and does 62 knots and travels across the planet.
T10 russian sub: doing almost the same speed as the Alfa class super fast nuclear attack submarines.... And those things had to have really andvanced liquid metal reactors in order to reach such speeds.... Then again, we already have russian BBs with more engine power than Nimitz class carriers, so what else is new?

imagine diving into the enemy team, emerge, kill the boat behind you with 6 torps, seriously damage the boat in front with 4 torps and dive back into the darkness. this will be so exciting for the surface ships. 🤣👍
Well, it is the recharge of each torpedo, load 1 at a time not all at once, or in packages of 2 or 3 and the damage if it is little, how much anti-torpedo protection do the battleships have? By the way you only look at what it could do and not what it will actually do you think those 8 torpedoes will actually do 80k raw damage if they do it right they'll only do 45% of that damage and that's if you manage to connect the torpedoes, yes, they are fast, but they don't know how to turn, they have hydro, or they are those players who detect the torpedoes at 12 km and still eat all the torpedoes. Never forget that however broken or op something may be, it doesn't include the hands to play it, at this point 80% of sub players don't even have a clue what to do, so I don't worry about bad or broken. they can be, since the end result is decided by the player and not the ship or submarine. At least level 10 is real and not fantasy like other things XD.
I have no urge whatsoever to go back to playing WoWS, but I definitely want whatever drugs the developers have, they clearly have the good stuff. K-1 being faster than its real combined surfaced and submerged speeds plus a decent running pace on top of that is just incredible. On the eSports thing, to be fair, as an F1 fan I can't really suggest any other sport, e or not, is more ridiculous when it comes to consistency 😂

Breaking news, WG adds ability for subs to teleport where ever they want by clicking on mini map, a spokesman had this to say. "I don't actually think it will be that much of a buff from the current state, as most players, according to our statistics, cant even identify the mini map on their hud."
About the KotS clip, I have now had the impression there is something wrong with angling for longer, like eating 10k damage a salvo from a Strasbourg hitting my BB (non-overmatchable) belt from impossible angles.
