Thanks for sharing your beautiful video it's about your own soybeans farmer. Even though you are old but you're so active. God bless you always and your family circle.
I broke the feeder house drive chain on my 3300 last week, probably the original one. Got a 10 ft.roll from Tractor Supply, needed three links from the old chain to be long enough, always something.
Over the 21 years I've been running my 3300 I've broken a few chains as a result of slip clutches being set to tight. With the exception of running the head in the ground and then clogging up things with the green Morning Glory I had a great harvest this year. Glad you were able to get your chain issue resolved and thank you very much for being here in the comments supporting this channel. 🙂☕
I pray for you and as many people as I can think of each day. I forget a lot of them but I eventually get to most of them. I don’t ask for blessings for myself because God has blessed and kept me more than a born sinner like me deserves. I ask others to say a prayer for me from time to time as a return for a favor or task. Evidently they hold favor with my Lord because I sure am blessed.
Been to the doctor got meds I'm somewhat better but I'm going to have to go get more meds before I get this thing totally knocked out. Thank you very much for being here supporting this channel by watching the videos.🙂
Years ago a local friend upgraded from a 7720 to a 9500 he was not pleased took him a while to get things to work out. Thank you very much for being here watching videos supporting the channel.🙂
Yes sir, that combine when it's setup right can put some really clean beans in the hopper. 👍🏻 Thanks for the ride along, I could almost smell the freshly chopped up corn stalks. 🙂 Hope you get better soon Soybean Farmer. 🙏🏻 Hopefully, getting some seat time, a cup of coffee, & one of those cigars you like to smoke will help. 🙂 Take care.☕☕
the seat time while mowing the corn down was wonderful very relaxing took my mind off of things. I'm glad I did go to the doctor and get medications because I am feeling better went back this morning so I could get a follow-up check up, ended up getting more medications which I was glad so we can continue to fight this thing and get rid of it completely. Thank you very much for your long time support here at this channel my friend. 🙂☕
Cousin I sure hope you get to feeling better soon ! I cant tell you how many times I plowed dirt with the grain head and its never fun cleaning all the dirt out of the header. One year the beans podded 2 inches off the ground and I was really glad I had run the harrow gadder on it before I planted but I'll bet I run the head in the ground a 100 times in that field (10 acres) trying to get all the beans. The next year I bought a flouting cutter bar head for the combine and at least after that I didnt plow the ground as much as I did with the strait cut head. Get well soon cousin ! Cousin Bandit
Cousin Bandit my friend thank you very much for the positive reinforcement. If I was younger and had someone to leave this little farm to I'd go find me a flex head. But I can't see making the investment when the vultures are going to come peel this place apart after I'm gone at 10 cents on the dollar.
@@SoybeanFarmer3300 I know what you mean cousin, My boys have no interest in the farm so what ever I do I already know whats going to happen when I die, But between now and then I'm going to do what pleases me ! As far as I know they never made a 210 flex head so you will have to stay with a 213 flex head and around here at auction a 213 flex is $500 to a $1000. A couple of weeks ago I could have got a 215 flex ready to go in really good shape for $1100. I'm not sure why but the last couple years these heads have gotten a lot cheaper for some reason. Every now and then I'll run acrossed a 10 foot JD head with a flouting cutter bar on it cheap so I'll keep my eyes open for one. The way I feel about it is simple and I'm going to do what makes me happy and if its something I want and can afford it I'll buy it. Mom and dad try to save every penny and there is nothing wrong with that, But I've told them if you see something you want buy it and enjoy it cause you cant take any of it with you when you die. Nothing wrong with planning for the future but at a certain point its time to enjoy what you have and if you find something that will help you to make things easer then buy it and enjoy. As silly as it may sound a 213 flex or a head with flouting cutter bar would make it easer for you to harvest your beans or wheat and that would make a world of difference for you. Just something to think about cousin. Cousin Bandit
Hate to hear you are feeling bad. Hope you're better soon. Those were some clean beans. Old JD does pretty good. Floating cutter bars are nice. The bean head I run is the first one I have had with it on it. Takes some work and worry out of it for sure.
When I turned it into a front end loader crop area was thin and I was running in second gear I could have cut the stop distance in half if I just had not had the cup of coffee in my hand. I went to the doctor got medicine feeling better but I think it's going to take more medicine. I let this hang around too long. Thank you for your well wishes and for being here at the channel. 🙂
Sorry to hear you have been sick, hopefully feeling better by now? I sure wish you would find a 213 Flex head, neighbor had one of those on a John Deere 95 combine when I was a kid, I was used to running our Gleaner Model E with a 10-ft rigid cutting soybeans and my experience was about the same as yours, I got a hold of that 95 and 213 Flex head and I really thought I had something out there cutting beans and not having to babysit that cutter bar all day.
Today was the first decent day where I felt close to normal in months. This thing started up on me last April and got really bad in October. Thank you very much for being here in the comments. 🙂☕
I was thinking about you last week went checked your channel to make sure I was still subscribed. I hope things are going really well for you and I hope it's the things you enjoy bringing you happiness. Thanks for letting me know that you're still here watching 🙂
Sorry you’re not feeling well, hope you get better soon. Anybody that’s farmed has done a similar mistake as you and if they are still farming will do it again. Take care and have a blessed week my friend.
I could tell, when you appeared early in the video, that you weren't feeling good. I hope you feel better soon. If you remember my soybean video, partway through harvest I had to stop using my flex head (due to a minor problem) and put my rigid grain head back on. Using that, my cutting height was probably very similar to yours. it's so hard to keep it out of the dirt, and we don't even have any fire ant mounds here. At least once the slip clutch on my feederhouse was activated. I'd much rather harvest corn than beans. Your beans really looked clean. You're right that the 3300's and 4400's really clean nice - my friend Cory always marvels at how clean my corn is compared to his JD 9500. They are good old machines.
When you can get a really clean sample in the hopper without throwing a bunch of beans out the back of the machine then it's a good machine. I've been to the doctor got meds things are better but I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to go back and get refills on these meds before I can completely get this out of me. My friend always a pleasure to find you here in the comments. 🙂☕
Remember my first time combining beans. Father in law had a flex head on a 6600. Made it lot easier. I'm 64 with copd and I know it don't take much to get ya down.
Sorry you're not feeling so good, I'm right there with you with an upset tummy that's gone on for 3 days now. It's so bad I couldn't go to a new coffee bar Grande opening, with free food coffee and beer. Those stalks will put some food back into the land once you disc it, the corn looks good going into the truck. I miss those trips to the mill you took us on. Stay safe out there and get better soon.
I'm hoping I can do something with the camera on this last tiny load of beans for cousin Scott to the mill if nothing else just preserve something for the 2022 Trucking part of the farm operation. Corn here on the little farm now in its third year has already proven its extensive value with the organic increase in the land. Coffee is my favorite beverage. I can't consume as much caffeine as I did 20 years ago, it really messes with my stomach when I go past a certain limit. Thanks for watching good to see you here in the comments. 🙂
Little combine has always done a fine job and it does it without throwing an excessive number of beans out the back of the machine where you don't get paid for them. Hope things are going well with you always good to find you here in the comments thanks for your support of this channel. 🙂
Mr SBF I sure hope you are feeling better my friend!! Those can be rough, used to not bother me...the older I get the worse they are! Little combine sure does make a nice sample!! Man those looked clean!! Wow, that was hard to believe in those morning glories, we had several low 20 degree nights, and they were still green 😳😳 Can't blame a man for being honest, the struggles are always real my friend!!! That exact situation is what destroyed the pto shafts last season on the big 14 ft gyromor. I was taking a drink of water from my container, went up a little incline...saw dirt start flying, and immediately grabbed the hydraulic lever ! Well needless to say, I went the wrong way as well, and on the 1086 if you push it hard, it automatically drops completely 😢😢 And yes sir, there was the spaghetti noodle driveshafts 🤦🤦🤦 Enjoy your detailed explanation of everything sir, hope y'all get to cut those last beans soon!! I do love that that ford, my dad so WANTS to trade his Massey 165 for a good ford, he loves mine 😁😁 Thank you my friend for bringing us along, prayers you shake those nasty sinuses and feel better soon!! Look fwd to seeing what's next sir 😁😁😁👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸☕☕☕☕☕
Low grade soft sheer bolts have saved my gyromower many times you just need to keep three or four of them in the toolbox with you when you're out there running that tool. Feeling better now I've run some meds through me I'm hoping these antibiotics will knock whatever this is out of me and I can get on back to normal. Thanks for being here supporting the channel my friend. 🙂☕
I'm looking forward to seeing this video and learning how this works. Tim thank you very much for taking the time to do this. And thanks for dropping by the channel. 🙂
Shure hate to hear that you are not feeling good. When I get the crud this time of year, it hanges on until spring. And getting to low with the head was my biggest fear. My Dad would scream for the rest of the day. Glad your pleased with the crop. Feel better soon.
Thank you very much for the positive words and the positive support. I've seen a doctor I'm on medication but it's most likely going to take more medication before this is totally knocked out. Thanks for being here supporting the channel.🙂
Thank you Danny. fortunately I went to the doctor got some medications and I'm doing better went back to the doctor this morning got refills for the antibiotics I think we're actually going to be able to get this thing totally out of me whatever it is. Hope you're doing well thanks for dropping by the channel always great to see you here in the comments. 🙂
The failure for not being able to figure it out would be in my case catastrophic. So I have to thank God for how He always provides me a way. Thank you my friend for being here in the comment section. 🙂☕
Thank you. Went to the doctor got meds took all the meds went back to the doctor got more meds hopefully this round of medication should be enough to get this thing out of my body. Thanks for dropping by the channel hope to see you here again. 🙂☕
My friend this is by far one of the worst afflictions I've ever had overtake me. Since the middle of October I've pretty much been incapacitated. Had a pretty decent day today hoping there is a good possibility I might be coming out of this. With the weather forecast being what it is looks like tomorrow would be a good day to walk around with the antifreeze tester. I hope all is well with you and I have enjoyed the parades that you took us to. 🙂☕
I was kind of wondering where some videos have been with you and harvesting I kind of suspected that you weren’t feeling well I hope you get better my friend and I’m sure glad when you’re scooping up dirt with a Combine that you didn’t break anything take care of my friend will see you in the next one
Yes my friend I am really happy I didn't break anything and have to go through some convoluted figure it out how to repair it type scenario. Even though I learn a bunch when I have to go through one of those it still has a certain degree of frustration associated with it. Thank you for your long time support here at the channel.🙂☕
Sorry you're not feeling well. Seems to be enough for that going around again. Been busy. Busy here. Getting things ready for next year. Pretty much ready to go. All I got to do is pull out of the shed and go. Otherwise it looks good for you. Cut beans there. I would say for a rigid head. That's a darn good cut. When the sun gets at a low angle, you can see what you leave usually. I fight with that all the time with automatic tracking head adjusted too low and it just wants to roll the leaves around a bunch up. Otherwise just a fine line of how far to push it. I also think bean stems are harder to cut than they used to be. You didn't get enough frost to kill everything then I guess. Makes for interesting harvesting green beans.
I have finally learned to stay out of green beans it just don't work on an 85 horsepower combine. The green Morning Glory was actually a shock I thought those two Frost were good enough to take care of all of that. Very pleased with the way my Harvest ended up hoping to get back out there and finish up cousin Scott's beans. Thanks for watching. 🙂☕
I can tell that you aren't feeling well. I have the same symptoms at the moment. I have about 4 acres of horse pasture left to bush hog but the amount of dust and that ole fuzz that is on sage grass is stopping me from finishing my work. I hope you get to feeling better soon my friend !!!
I don't imagine this Dusty combine environment helped matters all that much but I have to get this crop off this land. Always good to find you here in the comments my long time friend thank you for your continued support of this channel. I hope you get to feeling better also.🙂☕
Thank you very much for the positive support. I've been to the doctor got medications and I am actually feeling better. Thanks for being here at the channel🙂
Those fire ant mounds can really create an exciting moment. Most likely going to need to refill these prescriptions I got from the doctor to go ahead and get this thing totally knocked out. I hope you are doing well and thank you for the positive thoughts my friend 🙂
went to the doctor. got medicine took medicine do feel some better but I think it's going to take more medicine. Randy thank you very much for your kind words and for being here always good to find you in the comments my friend 🙂
Zinc, a nutrient found throughout your body, helps your immune system and metabolism function. 👍 Thanks for bringing that up I need to get back on a good vitamin supplement regiment. 🙂☕
FirstRate + RoundUp or Classic + RoundUp will smoke morning glory. FirstRate would be my choice, it has pre and post activity. It’s expensive but you don’t use much per acre and it’s a soluble granule formula so it will last a long time on your shelf
Added First Rate to my program years ago before I moved to Liberty. The Liberty herbicide program has been the absolute best I've ever used. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with me and thank you for being here watching videos supporting the channel. 🙂☕
There aren't any combines in my immediate area, so I don't know much about them. Do they offer adjustable skid shoes for the head? (much like on a haybine) Sure hope you feel better!!
There's a floating head set up completely different from what came with my combine and I am told the floating head is really nice. Thanks for stopping by the channel good to see you here. 🙂
Lets us both agree you dont have the Covid, but get yourself checked just to confirm. You look like I felt when I had it back in February. Remember by His stripes we are healed!!
Clark my brother in Christ thank you very much for what you just said here. I went ahead and went to the doctor and the first thing they did was test me for covid test came back negative. I've taken the medications I'm feeling better went back this morning got a different antibiotic hopefully this will knock whatever is going on in me out of me. And yes I believe by his stripes we were healed sometimes it's just a bit confusing for our singular dimensional Minds. But I know God has done everything He needs to do there's something missing in me on my part. Thank you for being here my friend. 🙂🙏
Robert I'm doing a lot better now than I was 3 weeks ago when you asked. This has been a notable event somewhat the struggle almost qualifying as an actual ordeal, but God. 🙂🙏🙂
The doctor told me one of the over counter remedies would be Mucinex. I've taken the medications the Dr gave me and I'm actually feeling better. Going to go back and get refills on the antibiotics hopefully to knock this thing completely out of my body. Thanks for being here at the channel.🙂
The beans this year even though a bit on the dry side did great following corn. I've completed the medications prescribed by the doctor I saw and I think I need to go for refills got to fight this stuff until it's completely gone or it will continue to plague me. Thank you very much for being here watching the videos supporting the channel.🙂
Did the doctor thing got the meds took the meds felt better went back got refills hope to get this thing totally knocked out and enjoy feeling good again. Always good to find you here in the comments, thank you for your continued support here at this channel. 🙂
I bought a John Deere 3300 it's a 1976 year model machine and considered a small combine. It's all I was ever going to need here on this tiny little farm with its 24 open Acres and now that my first cousin has gotten back into farming I'm farming about 11 to 12 acres. Had a great year this year. There's a big argument about how many bushels the hopper on that 3300 will hold and since I never totally fill it or run it over because I don't like the back pressure on the tank auger because it is old and has a lot of wear on it I'm reasonably sure I do my offloads when I hit about 35 bushels in the hopper on the combine. Thank you very much for dropping by the channel hope you come back and watch some more videos. 🙂☕
Seems they make things different so we'll have something to disagree about but moisture dockage starts at 13% at Bailey Feed Mill. seems you've got the concept concerning .1% over doesn't really hurt you. Thanks for watching. 🙂
Been 50 years since I plowed dirt cutting beans........For farmers that planted soybeans in rows, J d built a row crop head that worked like a corn head....but it had it;s shortcomings also.........I got a bugger also....lost 1/2 my voice....
David I hope you get to feeling better. I finally broke down and went to the doctor got meds I am better but I'm going to need refills to completely not this thing out. Have a blessed day my friend. 🙂
Working my way through a major health event. I hope you'll check out the next video for a better detailed explanation of what I'm saying here. Thank you very much for asking.
Get yourself checked for that COVID especially if your running a low grade fever the stuff they have to help only works if you act fast I recommend that bebtelovimab iv it really kicks it quick but it has to be given within 5 days of your first symptom. It helped me... prayers for your recovery
Robert thank you very much for your prayers means a lot to me you would do that for me. First thing they did at the doctor's office was check me for all known variants of covid came up negative. Thanks for being here. 🙂
