Spa Valley Railway - Winter Steam Gala (Feb. 24) | Out & About 

A thoroughly enjoyable day at the Spa Valley Railway, for the Winter Steam Gala. The event had several locomotives in action, namely:
- Standard 2MT 78019 (Visiting GCR)
- Standard 4 80078
- Andrew Barclay 2315 ‘Lady Ingrid’
- Bullied Pacific 34072 ‘257 Squadron’
Renamed as 34066 ‘Spitfire’
- CR 812 Class No828
I started my day at Tunbridge, boarding 828 for a journey to Eridge. After a while at Eridge and watching the run round, I boarded again and went part of the way back, to Groombridge. Afterwards, after walking round to different parts of the Harrisons Rocks and filming the passing trains, before walking back to Groombridge to catch my last train of the day back to Tunbridge.
With two sets of coaches and a Queen Mary brake van special, this lovely little line operated a great service with some fantastic locomotives.
