Half naked blondes, wearing heels, running thru the woods, in the dark are able to stay on their feet better then most of the cast in this movie. You'd almost think that lab is filled with banana peels.
What a terrible space crew. Could have been thousands of reasons why Origae-6 was picked instead of this planet. Relying on ship scans to determine that seems absurd. Something terrible could have happened which is why they can't communicate with anyone. Risking nearly 2000 colonist lives and 1000 embryos seems stupid, just cause they don't want to go back into cryosleep.
I’ve never seen this, and have only heard bad things for some reason, and I think it’s mostly because since Prometheus, they’ve been trying to alter the canon and write new stories so Prometheus can be shoehorned in and make sense... but it never does...
These movies destroyed the Alien mythos, and the level of just stupid. Oh look a planet we have never been to, lets not wear any protective clothes. And when david is communicating with the alien and then wants to show something you shoot the android...
This is great, but Dav id didn't cut himself to pretend to be Walter. He switched his chip with Walter's. He's actually in Walter's body. Why would he cut himself when the humans hadn't seen him get cut? Plus, the nail wound on his chin is gone... because Walter's body didn't have it, David's did.

Keep up the good job, Movie Recaps, and thanks for saving me money. If I was in a movie theater, I would have just walked out. The producers and director should be banned for making movie this stupid. Prometheus franchise had a potential, but was ruined by idiot director.
I still wish Ridley Scott just stuck to his original vision with the Prometheus storyline. He changed Alien: Covenent because people were complaining there wasn't enough "alien" in Prometheus. It really could of been a wicked interesting origin story with a slow dripfeed of juicy reveals in the Alien world. but instead we got this piece of shit movie, Alien Covenant sucked.

Hello fellow movie recaper's. I'm the eldest of my dad's 6 kids. The other 5 are by my stepmother. Nevertheless, our sibling bond is EVERYTHING. Watching movies than calling & texting ea other about different parts of the movies, seeing who won the bet to guess the plot, making fun of our dad whose always a season behind or waking up to his after midnight calls saying" Why you tell me they were going to die?" Lol. Well in 2016 our youngest brother was murdered. 7/2022 our last brother became a gun shot survivor & lived with the bullet in his brain. Our sister passed 3/2023 & our last brother (gun shot survivor)just passed 2/2024 right before i filed for guardianship to bring him home. My point is LOVE is an ACTION WORD. SHOW the people that love you & you love by DOING. Call, text, mail a letter, mail a card, movie nights, lunch dates, anything b/c NO ONE KNOWS when it's their time to go. Thank you for this movie recap & WONDERFUL memories of my siblings teasing me about being a sci fi nerd 😂😢😂 🫂
