I came across this simple and uncatchy titled game in the store and although the visuals aren't overwhelming, what could I possibly expect for less than 10 English pounds? let's jump in and see how hardcore this game really is...
There's a similar game from way back at the dawn of VR called Lunar Flight, where you need to transport stuff from one point to another on the moon's surface. These types of games are weirdly engaging. There's something fun about wrangling a tricky craft to do simple tasks.
I was/am in the process of making one of these, set on the asteroid Psyche. I'm aiming for an internal layout ala Ceres of The Expanse, where you pick up jobs at the "docks" and then head on over to a docking port, into your ship, where you can dock with multiple containers and move them around. Today I was kinda thinking I might give up, as there are soooo many games out there that will beat the hell out of mine!
i believe if you click the stick you can switch from high to low thrust mode. Hi for moving across the map / Low for docking and precise movements. I got this on steam and its simple but its a lot of fun and the race tracks are a blast
You need to persevere with it. I've been in vr for ages and when I got psvr2 at launch it made me feel sick too. Play a little rest a little. You'll get there. Thanks for watching.
PCVR is better but it’s also about the game you’re playing. Try more seated games to get you started (not this game by the way) or games where you are standing in place. Also it’s based on your hardware and psvr is not top of the line hardware that will provide you a smooth motion movement with your head. If there is lag and your world is not steady with your head motion (90fps is minimum) then you will have problems.
They've pushed 6 patches in the last 3 weeks, including adding new features based on community requests. Yes they are not planning major additions, but they have certainly not abandoned the game. I've been following the development over the last few years and the devs are awesome! Very responsive to feedback and very engaged with the community. They have put in an awesome effort and the result is a very polished game.
