@@ShinkMachinema-ps1fu I do love me some PlayStation recreations, so far I’ve made a hover APC from Syndicate Wars, the AG 60 Havoc from G police and the VTOL plane from Warhawk.
When you put tens of hours into a vehicle system but don't take 30 secs to adjust your power and speed on wheels and just Kang and Bang your way into a parking spot.
Love how you can see Klang freaking out and trying to decide whether to annihilate the craft for using too many rotors without proper sacrifice, or to preserve the beauty of the craft.
It's not super klangy, I've had way worse. When control surfaces don't want to work correctly or when they scrape across a surface, it will tend to freak out. This is very much tamed.
Wow. What a Flashback to the past! The Canyon Run mission was probably my favorite. Nicely done, friend and well done using the In-Game music! Now I must see if I can find this Classic somewhere. :D Side note: Excellent work recreating the original Camera angles as well.👍
AAAAAAAH IT'S AMAZING!!! Absolutely incredible recreation!!! And a mission I would actually want to build and play in Space Engineers on a bigger scale >:) If I could I would give 10 likes, or 1000!!! Did you make the buildings? They are perfect for this AND DID YOU GET CONTROL SURFACES WORKING ON SUBGRID TAIL FINS?!?!?!?! HOW? Please... teach me this magic. I have never wanted to use any one blueprint more than this one. Would you mind sharing this ship? Or maybe the world? How fun would it be to recreate the whole Dropship campaign, as much as possible in SE? I would love to help! I just bought a still-wrapped copy of the game from Ebay and I'm gonna go through it again on my PS2 :P
Everything that you have saw in the video besides the planet, was made by me, yes. If you want to talk or discuss about building in Space Engineers, I have a Discord server up where you can see all of my creations in Space Engineers. I focus a lot on military stuff in the game besides your typical space stuff. Lots of these creations use modded blocks to get them to look fancy and function exactly how I want them too. That's also still very cool how there are people that still remember this game. I love it! Here is my Discord server: discord.gg/TnsueDF3
It's music from the game Dropship united peace force. I have uploaded the soundtrack on my RU-vid channel and you can find a playlist that I have made.
Actually a surprise to see you here. I've stumbled across one of your videos before of your mechs. Those have to be some of the most smoothest walking motions I have ever seen!
Love it! I was about to ask if you're using the Aerodynamic Physics mod, but then you shut down the lift thrusters and closed the doors over them. Incredible! As an FYI, there is a rule for tanks' proportions. The width of a tank's tracks is normally about 80% (4/5) of the length of the portion in contact with the ground. Too long for the width, they won't turn without breaking tracks. (I see that a lot in SE videos.) It's a matter of leverage. The tracks are under too much strain when turning. Double the witdth, half the force needed to turn the tanks. They can also tip over sideways too easily, and you short yourself on interior space. Too short for the width, they ride like a buckboard and can't bridge trenches like they're supposed to. So a SE tank with a tread contact patch 10 blocks long needs to be 8 blocks wide. Just multiply the tread contact length by 0.8. You can round down or up- it doesn't have to be that exact. But stay close.
Appreciate ya! However, the tracks in the mods are not functional. They are purely means of decoration and the wheels are the only thing that moves them. I wish they work, but it can only get so much more complicated with tank tracks.
Mostly Consty's and AWG's mods. Also a wing control surface script to power the surfaces or hinges as you would call them technically. And lots of timer blocks.
@@ShinkMachinema-ps1fu It took 2 minutes to land and unload. That gives way too much time for enemy players to react. I guess it's fine if you're only fighting AI though.
@@StudleyDuderight this is a vehicle concept from an old game. It's purely showcased for its functionality as it is in the game and as a project. I don't particularly intend to use this in pvp.
This kind of technology would honestly cost more than a typical C-130 I would say. Vtol really makes the difference even for a giant cargo aircraft as well.
@@ShinkMachinema-ps1fu Would likely be worth the money given the tactical advantage they would give over any enemy force. They would give new meaning to a blitzkrieg operation especially if the Dropship could be armed to support ground missions. A division could be deployed with heavy armour anywhere in just a few hours.
