i think you should extend your ship out side ways to the right and put a landing gear there on the side to tow your space station while you construct it, the bottom landing gear could hold a detachable flat wide brick shaped landing bay with engines which the fighter can use as extra armor in a situation that it would call for it using the power from the fighter to power the external shell of the fighter, add turrets to the landing bay and station while en route could use the extra firepower, a capacitor would be wise as well

You should add a piston behind the drill so you don't have to get so clause to the asteroid

Where can we find a full list of mods they've used? I always wanted to build a ship like this one, but it's impossible with vanila.

I know this is old but watching Shack trying to take things apart with a full inventory and a cargo container right in front of him is rather triggering.

Heads up Captain Shack, catwalks are not airtight so if you want to pressurize the interior of the ship you may want to put a cargo container at the junction where you have a conveyor pipe in the floor.

The immersion with the X³ Soundtracks is just so much better.

I wouldn't mind a subscription model, so long as I was guaranteed a certain number of hours of play-time per subscription. This would allow me to play only when I want to, rather than forcing me to make a career out of playing a game in order to justify the expense. Better, in my mind, would be a microtransaction model that used in-game currency which you have to buy, or acquire from other players through commerce. There could be certain resources in-game that require monetary input, like tariffs or toll fees at jump-gates, and the money would be instantly available to the company. Of course, after the initial investment, there will be some players whose gameplay is subsidized by people they do business with in-game, and there's always the problem of selling off resources for real money... There may be no really good solution.

Decided to re-watch your exploration series. Love your content Shack, especially the Space Engineers stuff. Hope to see more as the new update looms!

Yet again, a moder makes the game way better than the devs and includes a bunch of stuff that should be there already. And doesnt get paid for it.

Double sliding doors lose oxygen. I prefer to use the sliding door for the exterior, and a normal door for the interior.

Mods I would like to see added, Shadowflux used equipment, Firstofficered's Star Trek blocks (nacelle parts, Warp reactor, impulse drive, and even a replicator and armor), teleporter mod, and maybe a techmarine skin, just because, and maybe the Epstein Drive mod.

Nice little rant, but its saddens me too see such obscure thinking toward's a fan. It's a shame that so many people turn a blinds eye to others opinions on such a non domesticated game. The fact that you've played "so many subscription" games doesn't make you right, it's your opinion. that's all. And until the games proves itself and shows a steadily flow of a solid player base, I have no interest in playing a paid monthly subscription game. PS. it really annoys me when people esp twitch and youtube streamers have a one sided conversion with their self , when I fan makes a simple comment.

I tried this mod and couldn't get it working properly. I'd start a world, create a faction, accept peace with everybody, within an hour of work I'd get swarmed by fighters that were friendly, actively hunting me down. I don't get it, but screw that. No matter what I did I'd die to a swarm i didn't even provoke.

Shack, i still feel bad that you once tried to spotlight my LAAT/i collection but i had sent the wrong link for the version with way too many excess mods and you sat for 25 minutes trying to get it to load. the actual one would have been 4 minutes at most. :/ granted they're all outdated now but you know. i almost had recognition.

Anybody else getting stuttering when you try to play this back? It's buffered, but it keeps stuttering. Makes it almost unwatchable. 😓

i like to join this said server once it open! i'm looking for a good server with shields to play on! btw shack you can use AI core to clean up junk without going thou admin menu i seen it on a eclipse server if it still exist. very effective on keep high sim speed.

Nice stream Shack, someone fixed the guided missile mod. Grab that and throw a few cruise missile launchers onboard. They are tons of fun

Hey Shack, can you build a munificent-class star frigate (If you plan on making a star wars ship).

Sadly could not attend the stream. That crashed red ship I found a fast and easy way to keep most of the ship as is and still be OK to move and use as base, first goal. So later on can use time to transform or dismantle it. Getting a small mining vessel is my second goal. Then a grinder/welder vessel as third goal.

interior lights have always been able to light large spaces, its not the mod doing it.

Shack, I know this was months ago, but I'm pretty sure that "stealth drone" was a broken piece of ship.

Shack when you get back to working on the survival series you should turn on the wolves with the zombies mod since you already proved in a previous episode when you found that body that there were people on this planet in the past.

What I did for Space Engineers is that i felt kind of bad about the drones that were sent to hunt me that I made a ship that was basically hollow in the middle and walls on port and starboard were completely open so If any drones were severely damaged in a fight, I would bring them inside the ship and make them into a fighter for me to use

Make a roleplay with the others on a planet and put in the mods that you have in space engineer - exploration and some other mods too so it will be better than robinson barbians roleplay 😀 also love your videos great job.

Hey shack for planets i just load in a game with the solar system in creative then when i get out of the gravity field i spawn a small ship to allow me to roam space and later planets at will

How come you didn't just use the entire ship since if flies OK. Just customise it to fit your preferred design.
